Can anyone advise have they ever seen anything happen after reporting a profile? In the last maybe month I have reported 2 profiles who were REALLY abusive in mails to me (people I had never heard of before - had no previous contact with). One was a Dom who was both vulgar and abusive, and todays was a sub who was incredibly ruse, abusive, insulting etc. But I dont see that anything ever happens when you report a profile or an email. I did ask Support in an email to them what they do when someone is reported - but they did not respond. Can anyone advise if they have had any experience of results from reporting? Thanks Sam

I've reported profiles and the mods took care of them.

I also reported one in the morning and it was down when I got home in the evening.

I am quite sure if you report them it will be taken care of..sorry you had to experience something negative here...most people are pretty cool round' here.

There's one in my area who has a phone number in the city name like, New York221 365 6789. I reported it, but for some reason no one cared. So I cried. Then got on with life. Yours, benji

I have reported some but I still see them online. So not sure what constitutes abuse.

I had one jerk who didn't like the fact i wasn't interested in me so i blocked him after he said some nasty stuff about me..he had like five profiles so i kept blocking them without replying..he must have gotten sick of making up new profiles because he went away...sometimes, ignoring them is the best way to deal with it..

If reported and nothing happens then put that profile on hide. Then you won't have to see it anymore.

I reported one for a 413 scam letter I got. I soon got a reply from Support that they had been removed. Maybe there is a greater threshold level of complaints necessary before removing those who are merely rude.

S I think I answered both questions, even if it was the same one twice. Granted, I did not do it 100% seriously, but yes, I have reported someone, and the result was it got ignored. Yup, I've reported, and they have been taken down. I think to some extent its based on the seriousness of what's in the profile. For example, ones with illegal stuff like unmentionables or animals or obvious scams are given top priority to be blasted, while others who are merely rude are lower down the list. As far as Benji's smartarsery goes, I think he did actually give you a helpful response. Just cause he put some humor into it doesn't make it any less real.

I'v reported profiles and jounal entries that had contact info in them messenger IDs, emails, URLs and even address for tributes to be sent. CM did nothing. so I have to wonder why bother.

I am confused why you would report a profile for things that are unrelated TO their profile. I mean, I could see if it the profile in question mentioned unmentionables, or posted someones else's name or contact info. That seems like it would be illegal and should be dealt with quickly. But, you reported someone who sent you an email. Did you report them for the offensive email? I have to say I have gotten a couple of irritating emails in my short stay. I find they have nothing further to say once I respond with appropriate mockery. And if they continue, I simply do not open them. Life is too short to diddle with idjits. Kyst
