This is true. My mother was killed by a drunk driver when I was 16. My baby sister was 3 at the time and doesn't remember anything about our mother.

Oh we do. Its a bigger problem than some think. Many families are torn apart each year due to drunk drivers.

I have lost many friends at the hands of people who think it's okay to have a drink and drive...I cannot stress enough to people if you are going to drink, have someone else drive you home, walk, get a cab, call for a ride...it's that simple.

The whole death of Diana question stinks to high heaven. It could be that the driver was drunk - whether he did the drinking or not. It could have just been paparazzi chasing the car that caused the driver to try to evade them - but it could have been anyone on those bikes. It could just have been a tragic accident. But if one looks at the circumstances, its more than credible to think that it may not have been. The very notion of the mother of the future king, cavorting with and perhaps ending up married to a Muslim, is simply not acceptable to certain people. Especially when that Muslim is the son of a rich man who has had many a run in with the British establishment. Its maybe just another crank conspiracy theory. But it just has too many signs of botched secret service involvement in it, too great a motive and too high a benefit for it to be written off in that way. E

At this point I do not think it really matters. While the death was tragic so are thousands of others every year.

I agree. Her death was tragic indeed..anyone's death is tragic..whether it is a single mother, a child, someone strung out on drugs...death is always tragic.

Seems to me that this has been the general consensus from about 1/2 after the accident. Why it should matter to anybody that some spoiled over-privelidged rich bitch got killed when their chauffer got hopped up on booze & pills and tried to run a grand prix through the streets of Paris is beyond me.
