While it generally wouldn't be in my nature to post a "good bye" post, I've enjoyed collarme enough to do more than drop off without a word.

At the moment, there's too much going on in my life for me to be able to do more than read and lurk, so I'm going to say good-bye and stop posting for a while.

Still, I wanted to say a very very enthusiastic thank you to this community for all the things I've learned and the discussions I've had the privilage of being invovled in. I greatly admire the posters on here, for the most part, and enjoy reading what they have to say.

So, thanks, all, best wishes and best of luck. Yup, you're still going to see me lurking, but I shall, unfortunatly, deprive you of my brilliance :)

S

With the lack of moderator's here. Then ones that are in pissing fits with other's. Everyone seems to be on their way out.
I know I debate daily whether to stay or go. I know of many good solid decent people who have left within the past week. Anyone notice how a lot of poster's are missing yet?

What does one do when all authority walks out the door?
Someone told me today they cannot even post a question anymore and get any sort of real answer. You have people boasting about how they are here to disagree and cause friction rather than learn anything.
The one's who are here to learn. Are getting frustrated when their thread's are hijacked.

Yes, you will be missed. I always enjoyed your posts as being insightful and intelligent. I hope you come back soon!!

I have noticed a lot of the regulars have gone, is it because they get busy or move on to another site? There are 92000 members altogether here so I wouldn't say the membership is declining, but it does seem there is some rotation. I miss them all and wished they would check in once in a while!!!

I will also miss you and your posts. I haven't been postings much lately because i prefer to stay out of the flame wars. I wish we could all just stay on topic more.

perverseangelic, I know how busy life can get. Your comments and insights have been enjoyable to read and educational as well. I am glad that you are not totally leaving and hope that you will rejoin the ranks of the regulars once life becomes a little more sane.

Thanks for letting us know why you will be silent.

I enjoy reading your posts. You will be missed. I agree with subforhire. Seems, the decent regulars are all leaving. I've enjoyed reading everyone's opinions. I do have a reason I mostly lurk now. Now, ya'll understand.

I agree with the others that you will be missed. And wish "we" could stay on topic more. It is a shame. I, for one, am still holding out hope that those that create the problems will get bored and lose interest and go haunt somewhere else.

Take care,

angelic~

Sorry to see you go, please give us a heads up if you ever visit our part of CA.

You join a distinguished list growing longer each day, perhaps each hour.

Let's raise a glass in toast to you and while we do remember....

Insideyourmind (Jeff)
cynnacent (carolyn)
Jules (A truly fine example of a Mistress)
Estrict
Estring (Not gone - but obvious in his posting absence.)

And many more I've unfortunately forgotten.

I haven't been here very long, but I really have enjoyed your level headed and insightful posts, and like many others have said already - you will be missed. I do hope that you come back when things have calmed down in your life.

perverse,

I am guessing that school is keeping you from posting...

Much luck with that, no matter what road you choose, no one can take away knowledge.

I hope that you have gently eased your Master into better eating and sleeping habits.

Wishes of success and happinesss-- to have my youth again, I envy you, my dear.

Merc,

This was before your "time" but in addition to those you mentioned, I miss Insideyouagain, sylverdawn and stormiknightbear. I didn't always agree with any of them, but they gave me food for thought. I am glad to read ShadeDiva every now and then.
