Admittedly Master / slave contracts have been thrown out of court as being a basis of a "abusive" relationship.

What if the contract would include a financial agreement in caring for said indivdual that is "abused"?

Would that section give relevance or creed to enforcing the rest of the "abusive" nature of the contract.

In other words could they have their cake and eat it too?

Nope, Master/slave contracts have no legal validity whatsoever, and never will...Slavery is illegal, you guys fought a war to decide that a hundred odd years ago...remember?

slavery is illegal so any type of slave contract would not be valid what so ever plain and simple.

But is it possible to enforce something monetary and not the contract?

FR:

I cant imagine any attorney in america even introducing a slave/master contract in the court to substantiate anything...financial agreement or not.

Maybe Im not clear on the question?

Doubtful, but there is a standard clause placed in many contracts which states that, should any part or parts of the contract be found to be unenforceable or illegal, it does not invalidate the contract as a whole and any remaining parts which can be upheld, will.

I've no idea if that type of thing would make one iota of difference in an M/s contract.

Where there is a lawyer there is a way right?

Perhaps there might be a lawyer in the reading populus that would give some insight.

it would be fun to see one tested in law , from what i understand . a slave contract is unlawfull , but if 2 partys sign a deed of transfer of say the slaves goods and property to the master . that is lawfull .
