Okay...
A lot of stuff has been said and going on that is incorrect.

First, Mod3 is not leaving, she is recovering from an operation and getting bedrest.

Second, our mods do not have a personal agenda against any users who posts on the forum, they are simply doing their job, moderating. If anyone has a problem with the way someone handled a situation please message me and I will look into it.

Third, I want to make this clear. I think I have said it before, but I will say it again. Who does anyone think they are to take any type of risk at someone elses expense. It is our responsibility what gets posted and the type of "tone" we wish to maintain on the board. We expect maturity, but at times that is too much to ask for it seems and we have to be heavy handed. Any post may be pulled at a moderators discretion. We are not looking to pull posts or ban users, but at the same time any post that we feel are disruptive, insulting or totally pointless may find themselves moved or pulled and the users placed on post moderation or banned.

This is nothing against any particular user or their choice of posting style, but what we feel may be for the best interest of the site and forum.

Thank you,

ModOne

I think you have done a terrific job. Everything you said is perfectly reasonable.

Doing all this for free? Yeah you and the mods are doing great. We may not agree on every thing but who does?

Keep up the great work. A chunk of my Income TAX return is going to the site. Thanks for keeping up this site for it's where I met my submissive.

Strange, but it never occurred to me to think that any of the Mods might be doing such. I have noticed the Mods doing their jobs.. ie, removing threads, monitoring content and such. I don't understand why someone would take offense at them keeping the site to a certain standard. We have a good forum here and I personally appreciate that it is kept that way.

This is off topic. I sent this in an email to [email protected] but it came back undeliverable. I really don't know where to send it but I'm thinking that if I post it here, you'll see it and I presume you do want to know about this type of scam.

247Master -

Thanks for bringing it to our attention and understand that with over 92,000 members, a handful of bad apples is inevitable. The support email is still having issues. Our apologies.

My best advice is to simply block that user - though I suspect he's moved on from that account. We will look into it though, and if the individual did send the spam letter and still has that account it will be terminated according to our TOS regulations.

That's a common scam letter. I ignore them. The support email doesn't work, you have to email the mods directly. I have had no problem with doing this. Just do a search on the main page for moderators and find one online, or one who has been online the most recent.

I think it is unfortunate that the moderators even feel it is necessary to respond to claims that they are unfair or singling people out. I would suggest that folks that make such claims should volunteer to be a moderator; however, by criticizing the mods they have already demonstrated they lack the good judgement and common sense to do the job.

It's unfortunate that you folks have to even post this.

And even more sad that you have to be babysiters to willful children who can't follow a few simple rules meant to keep this place on the net.
