Just a little something that popped into my head in the car...
This life does not come easily to some of us.
We are not as fortunate as our more peaceful brothers and sisters,
and must fight for every inch of grace
acceptance
obedience
surrender
humility
service
quiet
with clenched fists and reined-in temper and sharply bitten tongue.
Knowing that the reward, that ultimate peace of proper place
will be worth the war.
So be patient with us, masters and mistresses, I beg.
Recognize the struggle of your prideful, willful submissives
and how much we crave your strength
understanding
consistency
dominance
assistance
control
love
and how we cannot possibly succeed alone.
We will be naked, body and soul, and yours at your knee
once the war is won.
