Am I the only one who reads some profiles and wonders if these people are just being funny, lost a bet or were flat out plastered when they wrote their profiles?

Some of the ones I've read are just so ridiculous I have to believe they can't be real or it may shatter my world, seriously.

One I've just seen, my spidey sense is tingling that this is a revenge tactic of some kind using the pics of a woman who pissed off the wrong person, and now her face is plastered on some "freaky" dating site saying quite a few 'bad' things about herself and her upbringing.

See, it's hard to post this because I know we can't use specifics, but hopefully this will make sense to read, if not, sorry, just needed to get it off my chest I suppose [&:]

Some of the profiles on here are crazy, makes you wonder where they came from.   But, I just take it as entertainment.

Having been an EMT, I can verify that there's a window of 1am through 4am of Sunday morning or LATE Saturday Night where alien cross breed people come out of hybernation. These people are real and some have there profiles on Collarme. When you come accross one of these profiles, just skip to the next.

I would love to hook up a lie detector to all genders and roles on these sites and have them read a profile or intial message exactly like their own but worded for what they are looking for and ask them if they would be interested in that person.

Take the good with the bad, to me reading profiles of the crazy has been some great entertainment.

I know I haven't changed my profile in forever, as much as I feel like I want to sometimes, because it says what I need it to and, surprisingly, I get almost no trolls. Has someone sprayed me with troll repellant?

Vol - Lol I actually saw that show for the first time in years this afternoon.  One of the girls in the office was watching it.  I was close to giving her an evil glare but then I ended up sitting down with her and watching the last half hour.  It's still as much of a farce as I remembered, but they either have volunteers who enjoy a good beating, or are paying more for real hits, I was shocked...but couldn't stopped watching [:-]

Ken - Don't be so down on yourself, I read your profile just now, and can't see anything wrong with it.  Maybe it's just those reading your replies who aren't getting it right?   There will be one who does, and it'll make up for all of those who passed you by [:)]

Call - Short of the random freak who thinks fun = cyber, mine's been pretty trollproof also.  I think it's the new profiles who get hit hardest, once you've been a member a while, you're clear! lol
