Can someone who has more experience that me offer advice on the best sort of nipple jewelry for BDSM play?

That all depends on what kind of nipple play you are thinking about doing.

Keep in mind you shouldn't play with until they are totally healed, it could cause them to migrate. Even after they are healed there is still the danger of ripping them out.

I use and have for 12 years Niobium jewerly. It is not dyed and the risk of reaction is very very slight. you can Google it and read all about it.

My former mistress thought she would have never done anthing like that......... but one day something just popped out on her computer about body piercing and so she started checking into it and found nipple piercing and in just 2 days she had them pierced...she loved them and wished that she would have had them done sooner.....if your thinking about...go get them done. Hells yes they hurt for a while...... but you have to give them time....the sexual enjoyment later is the best.

They're getting hard to find, but for play my choice would be regular barbells, with a set of stirrups added for play. Just make sure they're at least a 12 gauge to lessen the risk of them ripping out.

Pasties may be outdated, but at piercing is not involved. The varieties are in the hundreds including tassles.

More recently, I came to like the small ropes that you loop over the nipples. They also come in a variety of styles including chains. Again, I am avoiding piercing which can get in the way with my style of play.
