Hhmmm at this time I have one, female Tuxedo cat named Nemesis. She is a millinium kitty.

Usually my home is a zoo. Cats, rats, hamsters, dogs, ducks, domestic birds and wild bird rescues. The only reason I didn't have a ferret is because they are banned in California. lol It is unusual for me to only have one animal at any given time.

Take care,

I've had so many pets... from rats to snakes to fish and gerbils... but none right now *tear*
My favorite pet however, was Minky, a beautiful siamese/himalayan mix. She was named after that scene in The Pink Panther when inspector Clouseau is talking about "the organ grinder and his dancing monkey", except he calls it a "minky" instead of a monkey. It was funny. I'm pretty happy though, Master has two beautiful siamese kitties that remind me of her. If you can picture the siamese from Lady and the Tramp, that's them!

I have 2 monster kitties who are my babies. They showed up on my doorstep 9 years ago. They boss me around all the time. Rascal is a mouthy black shorthair who loves to eat flowers & carbohydrates, he's the only cat I've ever seen who likes Captain Crunch cereal & donuts to meat or fish. Trouble is a black longhair who comes begging as soon as he hears the fridge being opened or I sit down at the table, he's a true carnivore-turns up his nose if it wasn't alive at some point. I also feed about 8 feral kitties who all come running as soon as they hear my car. They also stand on the deck & yell when they're hungry.

Horses: Tonka 2 yr old filly, Jethro 2 yr old gelding, Sadie 5 yr old Mare and her yearling colt Biscuit, Allie 25 yr old mare. They're a variety of colours, sizes and breeds. Really need to cut back actually as they are being taken care of by my parents while I'm at school.

One huge white fluff ball of a cat named Pearl. She's gorgeous and she knows it.

Tangwystal, how do you manage with three stallions? I sold mine in the fall as he couldn't get along with my parents thouroghbred stud.

We have two ferret's. Willie (m) who turned 1 on valentines day, he is the sweetest most loveable lap ferret. And Xena (f) she will be one on April fools day, she is spunky and an all out circus act. They are both into everything and make us laugh constantly. We adopted them from a nurse at the vet's office. We had contacted the vet to consult on owning ferret's as we had discussed at length getting one. So we wanted to make sure we could provide the proper attention they needed. The nurse happend to have two young ferret's she loved dearly but did not have the time to devote and she offered them to us since we were very serious about providing a proper home and enviroment.

They are as spoiled as can be. We felt they needed more room so they now live in a ferret condo, 51/2 feet tall and 4 feet wide with four levels. Our Xena while very hyper active is a true baby, her favorite toys are baby rattles and she will protect them to the end... do NOT touch her toys. Willie just wants a drink, he actually picked up a beer bottle on the coffee table and had it in his mouth! Now we make sure there is nothing out when we release them during the day. But if he sees a beer bottle from his cage he will start paceing back and forth as if he has to find a way out. I swear sometimes I can envision him with a tin cup singing nobody knows in his cage.

All around great pets, my mother thought we were crazy to adopt them, she had always heard they stink. She comes to visit a little more often now just to play with them and has completely changed her mind. I think we might get her one of her own for her birthday.

I want more of a mixture of animals than I already have. The only ones that are "mine" really are cats, since I'm only 19 and still live at home. And all of the cats were strays I happened to take in, much to my stepfather's dismay.

Patch- about 1 1/2, black and white, and as long from head to butt as the average puter's hard drive tower. He's a typical tomcat, though he's stayed inside more often since one really bad fight with a resident stray.

Midge- Patch's littermate, though not as big. She's calico and is nicknamed "the fabric softener kitty" because of how soft her fur is.

Neko- I assume he's the father of Patch and Midge since he's marked similar (dark on top, white below) and he's old. About as long as Patch, but at least 5 pounds heavier. His name means "cat" in Japanese.

Momma- almost all black, small and skinny, total affection whore just like the rest of them. I spoil the brats and they drive my family nuts when I'm away.

2 ferrets- Monte and Kotto, Monte is a female age unknown(she is up in age though) and Kotto is Male 1yr and 1mth old. They live in a 4 level mansion.
Iggy the Iguana is 4 yrs old lives in his own bedroom. We made it as real as natural as possible( branches, fake plants, vines, fake tree stumps, lagoon and still working on it) so he feels at home. He is around 5' long.
3 yr old female Rotty, she's my baby. She has a huge crate with comforter and fleece blanket to lay on and I have blankets covering the crate for it to be a den for her. She loves hiking, running, chasing leaves, running around in the snow, going to the groomers, car rides, loves playing with other dogs and animals and a whole lot of other stuff that would take forever to mention. But yes all my animal are spoiled.
And last a 38 gal. of tropical fish...

We currently have a weird black kitty named Cooper, a retired drug sniffin german shepherd named Olivia von Stolzenbach ,or as we know her "wivvie",who is about as round as I have ever seen a german shepherd!,a foundation bred grey mare named Bertie,(who will, this time next year be havin a foal from the 2004 world western high-point paint),a black, fancy and HATEFUL mare named Baby Girl who is lucky I still want her, after chasin her around in a freakin downpour the other night..(and I would have just left her out in the storm to learn from her mistakes, but when I tried to go back to bed after my initial saturating attempt at bringin her in,she kept running by my bedroom window screamin weeeeeheeee! the bitch),and a very sweet,"just happy to be here" red paint mare named Miss Mandy-lips,who is the horse I use to teach riding lessons at the summer camp we do for local under-privliged and emotionally battered kids.My heart and my home are full...but we still miss Sebastian, the leopard gecko...who has gone on to a better life.Neesa-jo

Just a bunch of cats.

1) Wilson, the oldest, a shelter purchase and the only one not a stray or ferel capture. Brilliant, inquisitive, mischevious.

2) Etta, stray. Second oldest but the next-to-last adopted. Jealous of the other cats and dumb as a bag of rocks.

"The kittens": generation 1 feral capture:
3) Skyler, metrosexual male, maintains harem of the others
4) Tyler, never quite tamed, comes in to eat a few times a week
5) Hope, complete slut
6) Opal, ex-revolutionary, sadly missing.
7) Faith, very sweet but quite skittish, comes by once a month or so

"The puffballs": generation 2 ferals:
8) Casper, bizarrely decided she wanted to be housecat
9, 10, 11) Flora, Herberta (formerly named Eye-Infection), and Fourth - hang out dependably and meow for food

Miscellaneous strays and ferals who we feed:
Molly, stray we lost the chance to adopt
Lizzie, mom of the kittens
Doris, mom of the puffballs
Fred, sweet male cat
"the Kelly cats", two long-hairs abandoned by moved-out neighbors

Well, one of them is in Idaho, one is in a paddock with attached stall and the third has a stall and gets turned out in the arena or is out on the pasture with a hotwire and 12 feet keeping him from interacting with the one in the paddock.

They are Arabians, so don't do some of the really stupid things that some breeds stallions do.

To let you know just how good my young guy is... I have the farrier trim his feet while he is standing in the barn alleyway with the herd of mares in the arena leaning over the wall sniffing at him. He sniffs. That is all he does, 'cause he knows what will happen if he does anything else. He drops, Rob pops it with the tool he is currently using and says "put it away". He talks or moves and both Rob and I nail him. It only took once.

I'm sadly separated from my pets for school. However when I'm not off learning, I'm blessed by the company of two very happy labs (Ed is almost 4 and a yellow puppy, Mo is almost 2 and is the classic black lab), and two very disgruntled chinchillas (for something so small, they're quite angry).
