So why has it changed now? Or do I just really just know how to pick up weird people? *laugh*

Petruchio -> RE: Hair Color (12/12/2006 9:19:02 PM)

Bald scares me. Several years ago I ended up at a girl's house at the end of a first date. After heated kissy/feely stuff on the sofa, the girl suddenly says, "Surprise!" and she pulls off her hair.

She was completely bald.

My brain's first panic thought was, "Oh fuck, she's a guy."

Thankfully she wasn't, but I couldn't think of her without reexperiencing that suspicious shock again.

Petruchio -> RE: Hair Color (12/12/2006 9:22:57 PM)

Lorelei, I think glasses are sometimes seen as an outward sign of braininess (which is sexy).

On the other hand, big boobs are often seen as sexy, but who knows if a girl wears falsies or is a sexual dud?

That's just priceless. *giggling* One would think she could find a gentler way of bringing it up rather than just "Surprise!"

I know some people are put off by glasses becasue they cant see someone's eyes behind them.

As to hair color, I prefer dark hair and light skin. And dark colored clothing on someone dark haired.

Is there anyone else who has a thing about the color of a persons hair?

Well, red hair on a man certainly isn't My favorite, but I have been able to get past it if the man is intelligent and likeable.  I dated a red-haired man for a few years.

A bit off topic here, but a kind of question inspired by darch's post/physical things that turn you on/off. What is it with some men and glasses? What is it about a woman in glasses that turns men on? I've known a few in my life, and it's always made me wonder. Me personally, I love being able to look straight into a person's eyes with no metal or glass in the way. Just curious. [:)]

well, i love glasses, it has to do with the librarian/authoritarian fantasy... but i can't stand dark shades, i won't wear them, and my eyes are highly sensitive to light (i'm nearly blind in full sunlight and i have to be able to see a person's eyes to be comfortable (so eye contact restrictions are a hard limit, unless it's in a scene and i'm physically incapable of seeing them)

basically, i have always used my eyes to convey my feelings/needs/intentions/etc and am also very good at reading another person through their eyes, so much so, that i depend on it, exclusive of any other signals

I love slaves with black hair, dark eyes, and fat squishy bodies. I always thought it was strange that I attract so many blonde male slaves, but after reading darchChylde's post about attracting submissives it makes more sense. I had assumed from the self confidence that comes through in his posts that he was dominant, I will have to reread & rewrite my profile again - this time I will think about how it comes across to others.

yes, i am a very confidant person (outwardly at least) because i spent my life in fear of being eaten alive if i show any fear or weakness... also, i am by nature a protector/confidant/councilor so i do get alot of people in pain and need around me... so, i've been forced to be strong and in control in one way or another; and i like it

but it is also in my nature to be submissive to women, if i don't call a woman by Ma'am i can still see my dad in the corner of my eye ready to backhand me across the room(so i'm trying to break myself of the habit of calling my little sisters Ma'am)

my submission to someone is not a gift, or a right; it's closer to a prize, though that isn't exactly it either... Ma'am has earned my submission, not by dominating me or any type of sex or scene; but by simply being who She is and making me feel safe and secure and loved... She didn't take control or demand it, i freely offered it with a trust that She'll do what is best for me, to guide and train me to be better not as a submissive, but as a man

i know that many of the things that She does or has me do will be unpleasant, but i love Her and trust Her that in the end it will make me stronger and make us work better as a family, will bring us closer

You've got that right!

SubShyButFlirty -> RE: Hair Color (12/12/2006 10:17:01 PM)

Usually I prefer/am attracted to short dark hair, shaved short/bald, blue eyed tall men (6" +) who stay in shape and enjoy the outdoors.

I have dated redheaded & blonde haired men but I wouldn't have sought them out.  Same for feckled face & skinny guys too.

It does boil down to personality in the end for me.

I  *LOVED*  the "Surprise" post, LOL!!!

NO comb-overs, blech!  [:'(]

Emperor1956 -> RE: Hair Color (12/12/2006 10:48:45 PM)

FR.  Red hair on guys?  I don't know.  These guys with long red hair, really skinny, almost look like they are sick.  Doesn't do anything for me.  Like this guy.  But each to his or her own, y'know.

~ fast reply ~

Hmm, hair color doesn't matter to me.

Circumsized or not doesn't matter to me.

Bald or not doesn't matter to me.

Can he touch my heart and draw me to his power?  That matters to me.  I was hot for my Master before I ever saw his picture.  When I saw it, I smiled greatly.

The "Surprise" post was just wrong, LOL.

DiamondOrchid -> RE: Hair Color (12/12/2006 11:00:09 PM)

Considering the h*ll I put my hair through, I can't complain about other people's. However, I can't stand guys who are balding, and have short hair around their head with one l-o-n-g patch on one side that is combed over. Have it all the same length or shave it! Body wise, the overly muscles ones (can't cross their arms) do zilch for me.

As for women... no preference except that they have some meat on their bones and a good sense of self-worth.

Both sexes must have enough pride in themselves to keep the stink off their bodies and the grease outta their hair.

Lorelei, glasses used to be considered a turn-off as was epitomized by the old saying,

Men seldom make passes
at girls who wear glasses.

Naturally, Dorothy Parker had a couple of humorous responses.

Bartlett's attributes the couplet to Mrs. Parker herself.

Hair wise, I don't really care. Just don't have the comb-over thing. [:'(] Looks really really REALLY odd on a woman (imo).

Other than that... I can't date or scene or whatever with toothpicks (you know the kind - ribs stick out and no chest 'cause there is NO fat at all... kind of pre-pubesent boyish looking). Safewords or not, I feel like I'm going to break them if I breath too hard on them. And if I wanted to date a boy, I would.

I'm with D on the cleanliness stuff.

DOM68005 -> RE: Hair Color (12/13/2006 6:04:46 AM)

Dyed hair sometimes fails to enhance the person's appearance.  I've seen some people that would be better off shaving their head and starting over.  (guys as well as gals.)

I like to call it "Specs appeal"....  The right kinda glasses on the right kinda woman sorta brings out that librarian/teacher/secretary thing that for whatever reason is very sexy to many of us....????

Chloelicious -> RE: Hair Color (12/13/2006 8:48:20 AM)

I m not a big blond guys fan beside that colour of hair does nt matter as long as they got hairs.

What i look first in a guy is their eyes and their hands. Your eyes can not lie. I must admit that i've been looking for a long period of time a guy who will match my father feature (6 feet +/-; blue eyes and black hairs) but it is because i've been through 15 years without seeing My dad. I was looking for a reminder.

What i look in a woman, hair colour and shape does nt matter muchas long as they are charming and not self centered.
