Hi there,

I am here mainly because I have finally, after years of telling my self that a D/s or M/s relationship something that was better left to a little DD and fantasy time decided that this is the lifestyle I want/need/desire. After having several relationships, 3 of which were either DD or M/s to a greater or lesser degree, I have come to realize that this is the lifestyle I truely do desire. The relationships I remember most fondly are the ones that had some aspect of the lifestyle in them. And I have come to realize that these relationships didn't just get there by coincidence, I was, subconsciously I'm sure, attracted to the submissive element of their personality, and they in the same way to me. After reading quite a bit on this site before signing up I can remember even as a 8 or 9 year old having domination fantasies, as some have said they knew from an early age that they were submissive. Perhaps we really are born with it.

I think the good part of it taking me so long to accept this as what I want is that I have had time to experience things slowly over time and to process them, and how I feel about them. I think the best part of that is that I understand what a gift her submission is to me, and I think it is finally coming to grasp that, that has given me the cofidence to ACTIVELY seek a D/s or M/s relationship as a permanent thing and not just hope I get lucky and meet someone who just happens to be into these things as well. It will be nice to go in with an understanding about it from the start and not have to carefully bring up the subject well in to the relationship and hope for a positive response.

Well that's a little about me and why I am here. I am grateful for this site if for only that it shows me that I am definetly not a cult of one when it come to wanting this lifestyle and helps to not feel quite so strange about the whole thing. Hopefully this site will help me to meet the person I have sought for so long and those of you with a bit more experience feel free to lend advice about how I might go about doing it best. Any questions you might have feel free to ask. I will post a picture soon too.

Hi and welcome to the forums at CM! We are glad you made it here too!

Here on the forums we love to discuss all aspects of life and the lifestyle! So jump on in, the water is fine!

I think we all have to come to terms with it at some point and i know for one, i always had the fantasies and just decided to go for it lol. But i have been accused of being a jumper (into things).

Welcome and hopefully you will find this a second home like a lot of us here.
