i dont know if its me but my Master doesnt let me use his webcam for anything. i had a woman today ask me if i was a man and to prove that i wasnt its peeps like them that make me red in the face. can they see that i dont look like a man have you had this happen to you

Sounds to me something far more prevalent with men pretending to be women, in order to talk to women - but of course wanting to establish it is a woman to whom they are speaking before they try to get their cyber jollies.

Sure.......... my Master has often in acted a no cam rule.  Generally speaking its not allowed for anyone i am not "friends" with already.  Generally speaking, he also knows who i converse with or people i enjoy conversing with.  He does trust my judgement for the most part when it comes to deciding if the person i am speaking with is a man or a woman.  There are some Domme's that i am absolutetly not allowed to speak to or turn on my cam with - and the reason is beyond me.  I only recieved "because i said so".  Generally speaking, he knows who the cam goes on for and who it doesnt.  I turned my cam on for a woman from this site.  Showed her ma boobies = )  Saw my Dom later and explained who she was and i jabbered on about her for abit and he wasnt bothered.  I'm sure it would be different if i had turned on my cam, had a bad experience, it ended up being a man... OR turned my cam.. it was a guy.. had a bad experience.  He'd prolly stick me back down with "no cam"

So i suppose it comes down to trusting your judgement.  Or showing him he can trust it.

As for the man/woman thing.  If they cant respect your Master's decisions then you really dont want to be chatting with them anyways.  Just causes problems.  You can always see if its possible to send a pic and generally i've never had a problem with a girl who wasnt happy with a pic.  There was one or two Domme's.. but i think they were trying to get in ma pants ^ ^

Oh Lord, the Ole Prove your You thing..... I wont buy a Cam, I wont use a Cam.  If some wacker insists on me proving I'm me, I semi politely show them the little X on the IM.

then the girl isnt worth your time and clearly unrealistic.  If she cant accept a picture on the first go around - imagine what else she wouldnt accept. 

For her it may be realistic and what not.  She seems to have expectations on how others should behave and do.  If it works for her then - good for her.  Doesnt work for me and doesnt seem to work for you.  Cant imagine you'd want to run around pleasing some one else and making sure their expectations are met for this friendship.  I personally try and find people whose expectations and ideas on how things should go can come close to mine.  Sounds like the two of you are out of wack in that area and looks like future clashes.  Cut your losses find some one more "suitable" for you.

First of all, why would you tell a stranger you even have a web cam. Whos business is that? Good lord I didnt have a computer till 97.

Not only do we now all have computers, we must have every little attachment that goes with our every little electronic doo dad? This has sort of gotten out of hand. Now we spend out lives running after every new thing that comes out to make our life better?

Right. I hear about how much better our relationships and experiences are every day on this site, thanks to computers and gadgets. NOT. Its sometimes just as important to turn our computers off. Theres too much needles blabbering going on out there with virtual strangers in some ways.  I guess Im doing needless blabbering myself right about now. lolololol Gotta laugh.

In the future, if someone feels your Master is unfair, let them know they'll have to take it up with him personally.  If I refuse to give you a ride, you don't argue with my car, do you?

Nice to meet you....i am guessing you are young...but honestly that is no excuse because your generation grew up with the internet!

so you should know better then to worry youself and even spin out into a tizzy over a total stranger on the internet.

While I can see some of the sentiments posted here, I have to disagree with them. Getting on a webcam for just a minute has a way of certifying your identity beyond any doubt....and no need to show the privates.
If you're ever victimized by a poser, as I have been, who wouldn't get on a webcam for any reason whatsoever, you'll never trust anyone who won't ever again.

And they'll have to beat me to that fucking "x" in the chat window.

The conversations I have on an IM contain enough information that a semi normal person can discern over time who and what I am.  If they feel a need to confirm that quickly, especially by Cam I tend to immediatly wonder a few things.  Is the rush to confirm who I am is so the conversation on their end to can turn into Wanking material?  ~ or ~ Is this person so distrusting of their own judgement that they dont trust their own gut?

I have had a webcam for several years. I think I may have used it.....twice maybe. Once when a bunch of my friends and I had a "scariest bedhead" contest one Sunday morning, and another time to show my little sister my grandsons.

I rarely ask someone if they have one or to turn one on. However, I do reserve the right to do so IF I think I am being lied to. It has worked wonders to weed out the chaf. If someone says they are female and are interested in a relationship with me I refuse to waste my time. A perfect example was this horny little italian wanker named Alex that has approached me under, at least, 4 different faux female profiles. All after his initial male one failed to garner the results he wanted.
