What age group Dommes are you approaching? Everyone has different tastes? Some of us like younger some, like some on our own age group. I happen to be open to all ages, not sure who I'll eventually end up with, but that may not be true for everyone. Just keep trying.

Sounds like a corrupted sample. I hear CONSTANTLY how dominants are quite interested in young, attractive men. It's one of those things you start to notice when you're no longer a young, attractive man. (sniffle)

Dear howcaniserveu, Ladies and Gentlemen; Lad, as a dominant lady, I can affirm that I do prefer older gentlemen that identify as slaves. Other than sharing same markers in 'history' as I; I also find older men don't run as fast; whereas younger lads as you run faster then greased lightning and run out of their subbie sneakers. But, I will 'listen' to all lads, regardless of age. Each dominant lady, has in their mind's eyes as to what would be an ideal servant. Not always, do lads regardless of age, looks and such get a second look. So, do understand lad; that even dominants are rejected by slaves and submissives as well. So, really neither side of the flogger has a recipe for success in finding the right match immediately so. In addition, in my mind's eyes I see--that people pick others beyond what is offered in BDSM or...the 'kink' aspects. Humans are humans, that have other interests beyond BDSM. It's not that we don't want younger men, it's that your profile needs a lot of work. What you currently have won't make us want to look twice or strike up a conversation. I think that most forget that when using the internet to meet someone that the profile they write is the first impression that someone has of them. I have found that on the most part older submissives have better written profiles. (Now remember I said for the most part). I have nothing against younger submissives but when I see a blank profile or a one liner or I am not sure what to put here I begin to wonder okay so how much do they really know about what they are looking for. So on the words of the other two Dominants, work on your profile so that it might attract the attention of a Domme.

That's silly. Like saying "How come xx (insert adjective of choice) subs are not wanted?" There are many different people looking for many different things here. Just because no one is interested in you, doesn't mean that no one is looking for someone in your age group (I myself am specifically looking for a slave... not sub though... in mid 20's to 30's). Maybe it's your scant and not very informative profile that is the problem. You are well within our prefered age range. However, as others have commented, the lack of substance in your profile is a huge turn off. Search the boards for threads about profiles, read them, and take the advice offered within.

I got Fox when he was 19 and he turned 26 just this year. It may be your approach or your sentence structure or what you are into and not into. I like them young but I also like older slaves too. I am probably more attracted to younger slaves. The again now that I'm older my taste have changed. I am more service oriented so I enjoy someone who very attentive and older men seem to be so.

I think that it has alot to do with the lack of financial stability in the lives of most younger men.........the key element being the ability to "provide", in the down and dirty, survival of the fittest sense of the word. Women ain't stupid.

I have to agree with those that mentioned your lack of profile...also, now this is just a maybe, cause I have no idea what you say....but how are you approaching the Dommes? Are you reading their profiles? are you approaching the ones that want the same things you want? or are you just sending out blanket emails? I am assuming you are sending informative emails since your profile has basically nothing on it.....so I'm wondering if you are sending emails to people that want something totally different from what you are seeking? As I always say "read" profiles...saves a lot of time and hurt feelings, cause I can't rightly go with your age excuse, 27 is a prime age....even I would dip down to 27,...LOL hang in there

I can't speak for other Dommes, but I prefer older subs/slaves for many reasons. Mostly though, I am simply more comfortable and find I can relax more around older men. D.

My boy just turned 22, so I dont know that young male subs arent wanted. Are you perhaps looking for a age group WAY above your own? Many far more mature mistresses do not want young boys, just becasue they dont particularly like men much younger than themselves. Most of the time when I was put off by a younger sub, it hasnt ben becasue of the age or the experience, but rather their ability to communicate. Most of the time, younger boys seem to have trouble expressing what it is they are looking for, and that causes its own isues when it comes to training. Or, unfortunately, they have a lot of unrealistic ideas. However, I cant agree that the younger subs arent wanted. Maybe your just playing to the wrong audience. DV

It used to be that I'd consider someone 18+ automatically but now I find that traditional undergraduate range isn't so interesting. Maybe it is fallout from teaching now for several years but I also think it is just more distance between my life experiences and theirs. With Tom I can share memories from the 1970s to now; with Fox from 1980 to now. But if someone in the future didn't have even memories of things before I graduated from high school, it would be tricky but not impossilbe to share more common interests. Since I'm not looking for casual players but for another 1-2 slaves in my house, common interests and frames of reference are important.
