A woman over 40 will never wake you in the middle of the night and ask, "What are you thinking?"

She doesn't care what you think. If a woman over 40 doesn't want to watch the game, she doesn't sit around whining about it. She does something she wants to do, and it's usually more interesting.

Women over 40 are dignified. They seldom have a screaming match with you at the opera or in the middle of an expensive restaurant.

Of course, if you deserve it, they won't hesitate to shoot you if they think they can get away with it.

Older women are generous with praise, often undeserved. They know what it's like to be unappreciated.

Women get psychic as they age. You never have to confess your sins to a woman over 40.

Once you get past a wrinkle or two, a woman over 40 is far sexier than her younger counterpart.

Older women are forthright and honest. They'll tell you right off if you are a jerk if you are acting like one. You don't ever have to wonder where you stand with her.

Yes, we praise women over 40 for a multitude of reasons. Unfortunately, it's not reciprocal.

For every stunning, smart, well-coiffed, hot woman over 40, there is a bald, paunchy relic in yellow pants making a fool of himself with some 22-year old waitress.

Ladies, I apologize. For all those men who say, "Why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free?", here's an update for you.

Nowadays 80% of women are against marriage. Why? Because women realize it's not worth buying an entire pig just to get a little sausage!   -Andy Rooney

(In my Circles) I have never heard a man use that saying, however, I have often heard women, saying it, (Cow/milk for free).

However Pig and sausage phrase is cute.

Enigma,

I wasn't done doing the post (you're a quick little bugger!) ..

I decided to edit it to put the whole discourse.  It makes sense now.

Lotus Song.

Thank you for this thread, You have given me my morning smile.

Women are not seeking marriage in every relationship that they enter.  The dreams of a young woman of the perfect wedding dress, the reception that their friend will be envious of and talk about for months no longer matters to the older woman.

Mature women have so much to offer but I'm afraid to some, without the sought after "youth" they will be passed over, and such a shame.

Thanks again for the thread.

Greeting,

Thank you so much for that wonderful thread. Sometimes it seems people think after we hit 40 we become useless instead of realizing in many ways we are like a fine wine and just get better with age (laughs).

Lotus thank you! That was fun yet oh so true.

Granted, I don't have to deal with the whole guy thing and have never really felt my age to be an issue. Except, in that, I love being where I am. I think I just tune out anything negative in this regard simply because I have never had a desire to be younger. I have heard so many say they wish they were (insert a younger age here) again and I just don't get it at all. I would NEVER want to go back to any age! Unless it was like 10 or something, pre hormones, when life was really fun.

I can do anything I could do when I was 24 I am just alot wiser now than I was then. Alot more self confident also. So far no wrinkles but I do see a few silver strands in the hair. Who cares, if I decide I don't like them I can colour them. Sure there are some body parts that are not the same, that can be changed if it begins to matter.

Life is good at 44 and I am certain 45 is going to be as good if not better.

My Mom always said "Life Begins at 40", and, boy, was she right! I never even heard of BDSM until I was 40.

Life is good.

wow, my sentiments exactly... from my wife who was 9 years older than me when i was 14, to my last girlfriend who was 30 years loder than me when i was 30; i have always appreciated the joys of older women

-they tend to know what they want and are not afraid to go after it

-most have gotten to the point of posting a drama-free zone in their lives

-they tend to be more confident in their bodies, no matter the condition they are in

-seldom will you find a femme who is a 40 year old virgin, most are experienced
and willing tell you what to put where, how hard, and how long

-an older woman is more often willing to be sexually experimental

-older women truly appreciate the attention of a younger man, and when you make
their eyes shine; it is an event to behold

-older women have generally figured out that deep throat is not for everyone, and it
can hurt the guy if she has to force him into awkward angles

-older women tend to be more free with their affection, caring little how it looks

-older women generally know how to dress, and know a little imagination goes a
long way

-older women walk with more confidence, radiating an incredible sensuality without
appearing slutty

-older women better understand that discretion is the better part of valor

-it's easier to submit to a woman who is likely been there and done that, how is
someone who has not lived going to tell me how to run my life?

-older women tend to be more emotionally stable

i could go on forever, but i really do have to do some homework for Ma'am

by the way, i am amazed that i am now currently in a relationship with Ma'am, who is actually the first woman in my life who is my generation at only 4 years older than me... but i am not amazed that i am truly happy for the first time in a long, long while... she is truly that incredible

Sure over 40 is great. But under 40 can be just fine too.

It's all about the cup size.

Hitting 40 bothered me alot; On the other hand, I feel wiser than I've ever been, but I dont feel any more mature than I did when I was 21.  I kinda like that.

We're talking about cup size now, marie.

Try to keep up.
