I put a Christmas tree up every year, my kids insist so..I do enjoy decorating for the holidays..I put on some herbal tea, Christmas music and enjoy....I am going to sit on Santa's lap this weekend, THAT should be funny...my kids told me the only way they are taking their pics w/ Santa is if "i" do as well..

I put up a tree, my unmentionables will be home for Christmas.  I have a small fiber-optic tree.  : )  My eldest would be displeased if there were no signs of impending Christmas at my house.

A tree, a real tree, with that unique scent.........and the needles that spread everywhere, get trodden everywhere....yep, we have a tree.

I guess you could say this is overkill but....I put up 3 trees this year.  One upstairs in the game room, the other in the family room, and the huge one in the front window.  I have family over this year from out of state, and they are seeing the new house for the first time.  I also didn't stop at the trees, and have done some tasteful Christmas decorating throughout the house...and there are lights outside in the front yard.

I'm not that into it myself, so I don't bother.  However, when I am in a relationship with someone to whom Christmas is important, I will put up a tree for their sake.

We have to have a tree, a real one. Only one we didn't do it and its when we were moving at christmastime. It sucked. So always a tree.

I do not put a tree up in the house; however, I have several outside that I do decorate.

Usually yes but this year no. It is just not a good holiday season this year.

It is our tradition to put up a tree the day after Thanksgiving. The unmentionables are still young enough (and will be for some time) to love it and they now expect it. ~smiling~ It is nice to have traditions for them to count on from year to year.

The UMs put mine up. Its one of the few bribes to clean the living room up that works.

Wouldnt bother with any of it otherwise

Definately have a tree... real, with that amazing scent that makes the entire great room smell like a forest. i decorate with all natural weeds, and wildflowers, except for small white lights & giant gold bows. i love the day Master spends with me, driving me to pick the weeds almost as much as i do picking out the tree with Him, and decorating it when W/we get home...

I got lazy this year and bought a pre-lit artificial tree.  The UM's can decorate.  It was always our tradition to let my oldest decide when to put up the tree:  before or after his birthday which is Dec 18.  He only made the mistake of deciding "after" once!  The UM's are all teens now but if I didn't put up a tree ... well, let's just say, it wouldn't be pretty....

I usually debate whether I'm going to, but seems futile, since in the end, one goes up anyway.  I put up a huge one this year.  All three feet of it.  Hey  it's raised up to a height of seven feet on this lovely decorated table.  .  I love when the lights are turned on at night, it looks like a million bucks.  Charlie Brown has nothing on me.

Ditto for me!  I'm all about the fake tree.

Cut it down, dragged it home, put it up. Got the wife to put the lights on it for a change, though... she complained that i wrapped it up too tightly
