yeah... got one of those little fiber optic trees as well, looks crappy during the day, looks pretty nice at night though, lol

We do Christmas at her parents place, meaning no tree at home.

Wasn't into the spirit of a tree this year.  So we put up a deluxe fake one we bought last year.
It is the first year of my life I don't have a real tree and probably the last.

Though this way I can tear it down at any given time without feeling bad about it.

On a normal year we have 3....one to two real and one fake.

Not this year. The place looks like a war zone, and I just can't be bother with the FEMA-scale intervention that would be needed to clear a place for a tree. Plus I'm feeling very Scroogish as the moment.

i'm the sort that makes handmade decorations, christmas cards and even make my own wrapping paper. none of that is happening this year, not even a wreath lol. i got divorced last year and i just can't muster the enthusiasm for the holiday season.
there is always next year *smiles*

Wel, I refuse to akcnowledge the existence of this 'xmas' thing..

But I have 9ft of pine tree covered in fairy lights making my living room smell beautiful, and our exceedingly aged fairy (she's about 70 now) perched on top.

I don't do fake trees - why bother? Might as well put up a poster - that'd be even less hassle. Right?
