My teachers this semester wickedly rock!!  And i'm posting this here because NO ONE is answering their DAMN PHONES.  Arg!  I'm sure they're all busy, but i'm just like bursting with excitedness!

i managed to pull of a 3.0 this semester.  Which isnt generally amazing.  BUT i'm amazed that with the first trimester and the stomach problems and being unmotivated and tired and failing i dont know HOW many tests....... i managed to pull off a 3.0  Which is not a 4.0 which is an A average for all my classes - but a B average isnt bad.  Definetly not bad when half way through the semester and towards the end of the semester i would of just been happy to "pass" my classes.

ERG and i got a B in biology!!  Woot woot!  2 A's in economics and computers - a B in biology - and 2 C's in Astronomy and speech.  Astronomy i was waaaaay over my head in and am barely making it by with the xtra credit and stuff.  Speech - i just literally wanted to die on the spot standing up infront of everyone and talking.  I know i will NEVER have a job that requires me to give a speech!

C's suck!  But whatever!!  I escaped with a 3.0 and i am absolutetly thrilled.  Next semester i can work on getting my 4.0.  wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!

(lol - thanks for listening and no i dont expect any responses i just HAD to say it.. i would literally continue bouncing up and down until i found some one to tell)

Congrats and never say never-  in no time at all?  And considering this wonderful news-  you may just find yourself standing before your peers and friends in cap and gown giving the speech of "your" lifetime. i am sure many would agree- i (we) are so happy for you and so proud.

I would also like to point out that a Phi Beta Kappa such as yourself might consider using My word!!!! instead of WOO HOO and remarkable!!!! instead of Woot Woot!!! since I will turn you off on TV when you are the first woman president if you talk like that.

LOL Ron which word is that??  Ha on the brainaic - i didnt get a 4.0 did i??  Hmmm??  No.  MANNNNNnn i want to tell my FATHER!!!  He'll be so proud - ))  I'm the "black sheep" started college at 16.. lol.. still randomly going.

NO speeches for me.  Cant do it.  My vision goes wacky, my hearing goes wacky, i'm a nervous wreck, i stutter, i forget how to pronounce basic words, i feel like the room just became 100 degree's hotter and i stand there laughing at myself like a fool.  Gives me hot flashes just thinking about it!

LOL Ron on yer D minuses.

Erg!  I'm at the local community college because i cant go to the university cos there's like a 9 grand hold on my other transcripts.  <grins>  Dang ppl.  So i'm not technically a degree seeking student.  And this COLLEGE that i'm going too - its "program" is different then the university i'm hoping to transfer to next fall.  <scratches head>  Not sure what to do about that.  There's got to be SOME basic crap i can take until next fall.  BUT wont taking basic crap just be empty credits for the university??  Course there are foundation credits...

::sigh:: and UCF thinks i should take physics and calc - isnt that just mean??

<ahem>  woot woot and WOO HOO

and thank you everyone!

oh my God!!! maybe that is what I used to say in clubs in Europe and people would follow suit...I do it here in the States and people get mad or don't follow....I say it more like "wooooo, woooo" so maybe that is why I didn't see the connection...awesome!

Congrats, Riot.

A great tip for public speaking ... start off with a quote from someone else.

I still have two finals left next week, but they are in my strongest classes ... so the Christmas coast is on.

Funny enough Kalif - i used to also party abroad in Asia.. lol  I've partied abit here in the states and not much that i remember as i was more often then not ended the evening blitzed.  So i dunno if others had a problem with it and i dont think i would of been bothered if they did.  I enjoyed it and it was "my" signal that the "party has started - rock on"  It probably is the same thing.. as it is just a "sound" with a wooo and it going "up" at the end.  LOL  Get on YIM and i'll woot woot over the mic for ya.  j/k

Now that i dont party like that anymore.. i've turned it into just a feel good word.  Woo Hoo is about the same but more of a downplayed redneckish version of it.  Hey i'm in florida.

Wala - my sister informed me is actually supposed to be "viola"  French i think it is.. (something similiar to that spelling.. never actually used that word. i prefer Wala!)

Edited - Thanks caitlyn.  Good luck on the finals!
