I am not trying to "rush" administrator-type people or anything, and ask this question with the utmost respect and consideration.

How long does it take to get pics approved for one's profile? I sent in (this Thursday pm, mid-afternoon) about 5 pics - just of my face. No suggestive clothing (or lack thereof) - just facial pics. I know there are 5 of them I sent in, but I can't see any reason why they would not be approved as they are all of just my face?

Just wondering (please no offense to whoever's job this is).

It can take up to 72 hrs for them to be approved... take this from someone that changes theirs all the time..lol

I dunno..I suppose ,..considering the picture approvers and mods and stuff are volunteer, they might just get busy with life. I know when I've had pictures not approved though, I get sent an email..so until your pic either goes up or you get an email saying something was wrong with it, it probably just means no one has looked at it yet.

I havent' received an e-mail, and can't imagine why they wouldn't be approved (but - stranger things have happened...). I am grateful for the wonderful job all of the volunteers do to keep CM up and running.

Thanks.. appreciate it... I saw it was up this morning and I think I posted it on Wed or Thurs.. not sure.  I wanted to change it already, but Master gave me one of those looks.. so it will stay awhile..lol.

My last pic approval took about a week..and these are pics that had been approved on another profile I had up previously.

It just depends on the mods realtime scheduling, how many new members they have to approve, etc..

Dont be disheartened. If for some reason they are not approved..you should get an email stating so. No news is good news [:D]

As long as we are talking pics.. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE put up your old avatar...it is making me crazy to see you this way~ LOL

Do the mods reply if they reject a photo?

Why do they reject some (but not all) if the face is partially obscured?

It always seemed ironic that frontal nudity (more or less) was okay, but not obscured faces.

Mods do not approve pics.
Other people do that job.  And yes, they send email regarding the approval/disapproval of pictures.
