Just a cute fun topic.
I only own a few "fetish" articles of clothing, and only have a few toys.
I hope to expland...in 2007.

I want to know where people keep or hide their BDSM toys, cages, clothing,
apparatus, etc.?
Do you have a special vault?
Especially if you live with others, family, or have children living in the same house,
that you do NOT want to find these items.
Let's face it, people are nosey, and children tend to enjoy being in their parents room.
I need a place to start keeping my soon to be expanding "toy" collection.

i use a big red toolbox so i can padlock it and keep prying eyes and hands out

I keep my toys in a back pack for ease, I don't worry about hiding them. nobody here messes with my private stuff

I was and still am nosey, so I look for that quality in others.

I live alone. But I keep them in a box in my closet. If any visitors want to come snooping through my closet, let 'em have at it, lol. They're on a shelf so the nieces & nephews can't get at 'em when they're here.

We live our bdsm life in our home, with kids, so we keep everything 'tell tale' in our bedroom, in the walk in robe, in a bag.

Most of our larger pieces of equipment, are normal furniture that we abuse

, ie. wrought iron swing, leather sofa, 4 poster etc. the hooks etc that have been added are discreetly out of sight to the unprying eye.

We have two dogs, that love to chew things left lying around, that pretty much keeps us in check and putting things away behind us.

A lot of our 'tools' are ordinary household items that appear vanilla to the untrained eye lol.
Im a nurse, that explains some of the other 'items' if asked, and i train dogs, and enjoy the horsey world, that explains the rest.

If asked directly by a adult however, then i tell them its a toy. My philosophy being, if you didnt want to know, you shouldnt of asked!

Clothing: this is easier to deal with in our house, as my adult daughter has been infected with my need to dress up, and has begun gathering her own dress up clothes. And borrows mine. I have a few outfits, but ive always had a 'dressing up box' for as long as i can remember, it not only contains pvc and leather, it contains, corsets, silk dresses, ball gowns, sports clothes like 'tennis dresses', school uniform, then there's the fact that he occasionally 'works as a labourer' so needs a tool belt lol.

I had a delusion once, that my house looked entirely vanilla, until a vanilla good friend once told me, your house screams sex from the minute you walk into it, everywhere has some sensual stimulation. Hey ho, lucky me, and more fool her i guess.

Kids are all grown amd live on their own and almost 1000 miles away.. one daughter comes to visit often though but knows about me and the lifestyle so even though We have two playrooms in the basement that lock we never do for her..if my family is coming for dinner we do lock the dungeon as the door at the top of the basement has a deadbolt.
only one has ever ask why it was locked and Master told him it was His workshop and a mess down there, Mostly though the only people that come to our house are from the local BDSM group so no need to hide anything.

I have two lockable toolboxes that has two parts(stackable) and it is on wheels. That makes it hard on prying eyes, as they are locked. Also use a lugage set that has locks. For those other impliments, I have used a large pool stick holder/bag.

I can so relate to that, Master used to keep the crop beside his bed side table, one morning I found little pieces of leather all under the bed from our dog

Most of our stuff is kept in a bag in the closet, or just in the closet if it doesn't fit in the bag. The only thing that's kept out is the cuffs that are permanently attached to the bedhead, but they snuggle safely under the pillows when the bed is made. We don't have any children in our house, so leaving things laying around isn't such an issue for us.

Master keeps the toys with him where its safe and hidden cause he has two sons. As for my bdsm clothing and sex toys, they are in a good place in my closet. Luckily, i dont have kids so i am not worried of someone peaking.

anything in appropriate or that I don't want people to see.. is kept in my dungeon... which of course is locked

but generally the clothing items are all in the closet

I live alone; in addition to that, I am not worried about neighbors or friends knowing what I do with my life. Granted, not many of them are invited into my basement area, but I would have no issues with them seeing what was down there.

i use a big toolbox that locks. no kids or family to worry about, but two friends know that if something happens to me then they need to grab my box! i would truly hate to freak out my parents/family which is why i have the snatch n grab backup system lol.

I don't have much. Cuffs and a flogger ~ the flogger used to just hang on the wall... the cuffs were hung over the closet rod in the closet without doors... I've changed rooms in the house and haven't finished decorating yet.
I have so much clothing that anything outlandish doesn't stand out much cause all you can really see in the closet is fabric!

My Master and I have have several collections. Our floggers, bondage gear, whips, paddles, vibrators, CD clothing and lingirie, plugs,ect. are in a locked chest at the foot of our bed.We do have unmentiontionables in the house so I try to keep those well tucked away.

While our knife collection is displayed in my china cabinet.

In 2007 I hope to move into a house with a basement or attic so that we can have a dungeon.

I keep them literally in my bedroom closet, which is right next to my bed.

If someone wants to snoop, let them find what they will. I wouldn't have anyone in my house or in my bedroom if I wasn't ok with the risk to begin with.
