I just wanted to share something with you guys. Master came home for lunch earlier, he had been having a stressful day at work and its not going to get any better this week leading up to Christmas...anyways...He came home and I was all happy cause I had been out Christmas shopping and getting other bits and pieces, I had everything I purchased laid out on the pool table as I do so he can see....and I had my new Christmas top on I just bought feeling all lovely and stuff....

Anyway, he arrived home pretty stressed to find I hadn't packed away stuff from yesterday from the martial arts christmas party..which as soon as he walked through the door I told him that I thought getting the shopping over and done with was a good thing and that I would get onto other things after lunch...it was then that I realised he was stressed....I asked him what he wanted for lunch as there was a choice of leftovers..He didnt want any lunch...it was then I realised he was "really stressed"....but I didnt know what he was stressed over at that point.....so I started being stressed that it was because I hadnt got the house things done....

So, he sits down in our office and before I can say anything he says to me.."Jali I'm stressed and Ive got a hectic week in front of me....it's got nothing to do with you.....However, I want you to make sure you do everything thats expected of you and nothing "extra" until those things are done..this will make me happy"

I don't know if that scenario sounds dumb..but when he left to go back to work, I was thinking about it and it made me feel reallly appreciative that he is so conscious that he said those things to me. I just love him so much

1. He let me know without me having to ask that his stress had nothing to do with me.
2. He told me how I can help him with this stressful week.

So anyways, his excellent and awesome communication skills are already working..as after he left to go back to work, I started fiddling around with this quilt I'm making him and suddenly it dawned on me "this is an extra thing and isn't going to please him" so I stopped it and put away the things from yesterday.

Got anything like that to share? It's in the little things a lot of the time hey?

Umm sorry if this is a dumb topic, but wanted to share.

I dont have a master or a slave but i have an awesome dog...saphy..she is a blue pit bull and has the softest brown doe eyes...and some times as you know jali, i get sad i dont have some one special...and there she will be....the consumate clown....doing somthing so silly like burrowing in to my leg and nibbling my thigh and i wont be in the mood but i will loose it...and start laughing ...and she lights up! she gets even sillier and will do somthing majorly goofy that ends with her falling off the couch and then that is all i can take...i get on the floor...and pet and cuddle with her....i love her so much

That is wonderful, Jali! You are fortunate that your Master let you know what was going on and what he expected of you in the midst of that stress/chaos.

That is so wonderful...

I thrive on that sort of communication - honest, open, direct and responsible. How can a relationship do anything but flourish under such conditions?

He reminded me that it's our two year anniversary of knowing eachother- quite by accident for both of us.

We ended up going to a meetup group, and ended up getting split up by the group due to moving around tables and sitting at opposite ends of the table- which was exactly how we had our first meeting 2 years ago. I was even wearing the same green velvet dress.

He noticed it first and made a joke about it being "just like old times" and the memory of it washed over me and how amazing it was that two years had already flown by.

CrouchingTigress- There are times I think that I never would have survived the summer of '05 if it wasn't for my dog. There's a reason I mention him in my profile- no one is going to have a relationship with me without him (minds out of the gutter, please).

Had to share what an amazingly wonderful Master i have. My horses had been boarded for quite sometime at a location that i have not been happy with. An incident happened where my horse kicked the worker when he was doing something stupid. Now the guy expects me to pay for his medical. Thats another story anyway i decided that even tho i was not quite ready to move the horses to my land it was time. Had enough of their attitude and me paying more for feed and hay than my horses could possilby be using. Anyway decided to make the move last night. Master has his own larger farm to take care of as well as an additional job. Without my asking for help He told me what time He would meet me to move the horses and finish the last things in order for them to be well taken care of on my property. He dropped what He had to do to help me. I am humbled that He would do such a thing. He is a cattleman not a horseman so was even more touching that He would help me. Then He told me i could have done it without Him because i am capable of doing such. His confidence in me and His help was for me an uncomparable gift.

There are other things..like he always asks how my day was, if I am okay, and is very kind and considerate of me.

One of the things that touches me the most is that I have three dogs. Most Masters had a fit about one, but three?? He treats them as his own, and doesn't complain too much when one sleeps up on his pillow and it shoves him over..

This was something that meant a lot to me, because my animals are just like my kids and none of the Doms I talked to seemed to understand that.

It's his sweet way with my animals that warms my heart, and his sweet way with me.

I have the most wonderful Master, He woks overnights and goes without sleep so he can spend his days with me. He is tired but he says being with me is more important than sleep.

Greetings..~smiles~

From the beginning 2yrs ago..Master gave me his most pertinenent of values. No lying..No stealing..No cheating. Just 3 things but if you really stop and think about it..just those 3 things cover pretty much every aspect of a human in any dealings they coould possibly have. As he says..very easy to say them..not so easy to live up to them.
He is correct. Always some sort of situations where doing one of those 3 or any combination there of would make your life easier. At work..Master stated upfront to all who he works with these same 3 things. Some situations have arisen at his job since he's worked there where seeing his co-workers fall into any combination of those 3 things. Even more alarming is that they don't seem to think anything of it and try to take Master along for the ride.

Now some of these things at different points could of made things alittle easier on Master ..less work..more hours for not really doing any work to get them..etc.
It has even come down to now more recently where a slight superior who is the worse abuser of the system has deliberately attempted to set Master up and accusing Master of assault. Oddly he started hollering for Master to stop attacking him with out Master having ever touched him in any way.
Master thought the guy was somewhat freaking out and since Master does not play these games..Master was genuinely concerned, and simply put his hand on the guys back, and asked if he was okay, and what was going on. Won't go into a bunch of details with this but thankfully there were witness's present who attest that Master did not attack this guy in any way, shape or form.

None the less..because this same guy got another person fired for assault some time back before Master started working there..it has left Master with alot of undo stress. Listening to Master and talking about the situation..I find that I am just purely blessed and in awe of him. He will not take the easy road and just let them write him up falsely for something he did not do in order to just calm and close out this situation in order to lessen any risk of being fired. These are the types of risks one takes when standing on their principles and integrity. Alot of people I have known that have ran into such pathetic situations like this have backed down, and taken the easy route or been convinced to by their nagging spouse about well how we going to live and pay bills..how we going to do this or that if you get fired. To them I say a hardy "fuck you".

As I have always stated since knowing Master..I don't care if we do end up in a cardboard box as long as we are together because there are just some things in this life that are more important, and a persons honor, morals, values, and integrity are it. I do not ever doubt Masters ability to take care of us, and by that I do not mean in things we can amass in physical assets. I mean our spirits, and their togetherness. If there is any room for a slave to have pride..then I am proud beyond words to be his.

Jali that is so sweeet and I totaly understand what your talking about.

OK I posted this in my thread about my borken collar but I also think it fits here very well so Ill put it here because well I think I have the best Master and I want everyone to know how great he is to me.

For my christmas/Honnukah present Master just took me to build a bear workshop and we built a monkey together and we dressed him in leather and chanes and boots and named him Master Monkey Benjimen

he makes monkey noises and everything master bought it for me and I love it he is even wearing my old collar now .
It was the sweetest thing in the world not only the monkey (because I do love stuffed animals and monkeys are my favorate) but the entire experiance of building him together and nameing him and everything it was so much fun and I just loved spending that special time with Master its the memory attached to the Monkey that I will cherish forever!!
