Contact paper works well, if your looking to do letters. Just stencil or draw them out yourself, and cut. Then you can do several at a time and have them ready each time you go out. As far as the burn goes . . . vinegar will stop the burning feeling and fresh aloe will help remoisturize the skin. And yes I have used this, on myself as well as my children. I have an aloe plant. By the way . . . you didn't catch a tan, you caught a burn. And the majority of the time you will lose it. Gloria has the best advice if your really wanting to tan. "20 minutes a day, 3 days a week". And I suggest you either cover your face or use a high SPF on it. I tan fairly easy, 20 min. in the afternoon sun, and I go in with tan lines. Unfortunately, I moved from Calif. to Louisiana, and now the only thing I can catch is a good sweat. Take care,
