You sound so much like me..When I was diagnosed as being diabetic, my late Master watched everything I ate..when we went shopping I would say "Daddy, the marshmallow peeps just hopped into the shopping cart".. he would give in every once in awhile.

Well, you're not dead yet, are you? Don't worry about it until January or you will go crazy.

Eat some berries or something and make up for it, if you feel guilty. Really if you have a few cookies or candy, it's okay, I think. Everything in moderation but - I feel sorry for anyone who actually tries to diet this time of year...

I am not overweight (least I don't think so) but am not underweight either. I could probably stand to lose 5-10 pounds (who couldn't right)?  If I don't watch it, I can gain weight. I go on crazy diets, sometimes, if I think I am getting fat (I am paranoid about that, too).

I have a sister who is skinny and looks practically anorexic, (but she just has a fast metabolism) and another one who has a weight problem.

I will buy this "diet juice" at Walgreen's that guarantees you can lose "up to" 10 pounds in two days - it's a juice fast thing. And with using that, I always lose at least 5 pounds. So I always do that in January. I am such a baaaad (read: lazy)dieter...I do walk my dogs a lot, though, and am convinced that helps me keep weight off.

I don't think you're fat.

I put on a whole 15lbs this time last year. Ws supposed to be on a diet, but who can be bothered over the season of Winter Excess?

This year, I have a tame personal trainer who can help me work it all off, so it's all good and pass the cookies....

You're supppposed to indulge around this time of year! sheesh, it's cold out there (ok most places, it's 70 here right now) and we NEED the calories to keep warm. Why do you think eggnog has like 10 bazillion calories a teaspoon?
