That doesn't seem nearly as satisfying as shouting profanity, much less putting my steel box-section off-road bumpers to work

This doesn't seem kosher.

You register an anonymous account which allows you to post indentifying information about drivers and make potentially false but public reports about them. This sounds like an abuse portal more than a public service. The old pillory in the town square and a road-raging mob to boot.

No, if you get a plate and witness an offence, report it to the cops.

The solution to Road Rage is simple. don't get wound up! A driver cuts you up, slow down, let him dissapear into the distance...let him kill himself or crash his car, just carry on on your way, lifes to short to worry, or hurry!
I saw a great idea the uk government was considering....putting min cameras in the bumpers of public vehicles AND the vehicles of volunteer members of the public. Wouldnt that be great. Someone cuts you up or drives like an idiot, press the button, and off to the local cops goes a pic movie of the offending car/driver.....remember the old motto, don't get mad, get even!

In Arizona.. you can actully get cited for flipping the bird, screaming obsceneties and such at another driver (if you get caught).

I thought this was a very clever way to blow off steam :)
