I don't think this is what you'd call a statistically valid survey, cuz only certain type of people respond to questionaires, and a smaller number than that to open-ended questions. I, however, am one of those type of folks! Seven years in the military gave me enough GI Bill to take 6 years to get a four year degree. It was supposed to be in Math Education, but when I got the notice that the GI Bill credits were to "run out" after two additional quarters it was "OMG, what do I have enough classes in to qualify for a degree in?" Many of the math and EDU classes also gave credit in Psychology; hence the degree in Psychology, appropriately enough a "BS" degree! A Degree in Psychology in the rural "deep south" get you 'braggin rights' but not much else! Jillian
