AquaticSub,

I personally did not see the OP's orginal post as her being rude.Remember what is rude and what is not is based upon personal perception and Goddess knows that various from person to person. So if the OP does not perceive herself as being rude in her orginal post or even the following ones why should she "own up to it"?

sweetsatori,

I am not going to fault you for your frustration I would venture to say most of those on this forum have been there. Myself included. I do love the flea market analogy that was given it is so very true.

You have ONLY been on Collar Me a short time do you truly expect instant gratification? It is hard to find a "match" in the real why on would anyone think that finding a "match" on the net would be any easier?

That being said I would urge you NOT to take what people post on here or any forum for that matter to heart. What do you have to proof to anyone one of us? Why would you give out your number to a random stranger simply to proof something to them?

If you can't think of anything, maybe you could look to your partner for an answer.

I hope you're not expecting her to reply as she already said she wasn't going to post in the forums again.  Well ok, she posted again after saying that, but that was her LAST last post.  I'm sure of it.

While her OP is not blantly rude, just rehashing everything that as already been said before, she becomes very rude in her replies to others. That reflects back on her orginal post and colors it. I think LA's opinion of her coming in to a community rudely and shouting is correct. A different approach would have gotten her a much different response.

LadyIce -> RE: Are any women on here real? (12/21/2006 3:39:26 PM)

I also did not see the OP's post as rude.
I think she is just frustrated and venting.
Many come here and bitch and complain, I
do not know why she was so viciously attacked.
Tis the season to be mean?

mnottertail -> RE: Are any women on here real? (12/21/2006 3:40:40 PM)

I was real once, but the day-to-day strain was more than I could bear, and so I just up and one day said fuckit, and quit.

AquaticSub,

I am curious about something.

Is there a topic that has not be "rehashed" at least once?

New people come to the forums the post topics that are relevant to them, regardless of the number of times they have been posted by others. Should they not post simply because it has been posted about x amount of times in the past?

Edited to add: You state her responses to others were rude. I ask you this what prompted those responses?

LadyIce -> RE: Are any women on here real? (12/21/2006 3:46:44 PM)

Welcome satori, continue to post.
It is often hard to find the right person
online and make a match.
Many of the men on here are fake also.
But there are many REAL people here.
The online community can be fun and
interesting, but it is not the easiest place
to find someone.
Good luck in your search.

I'm not holding my breath or anything.

So you have that sinuous whip in your avatar, and that sinuous tilde next to your name, and that sinuous toy in your signature line. What a totally pulled-together presentation.

Oh but wait. That's off topic.

Hell, I'll give her twenty bucks as soon as she never comes back here again pissing and moaning about how rude she isn't.

BDSM05478 -> RE: Are any women on here real? (12/21/2006 3:55:19 PM)

wow....... alot of good points and some really excellent laughs tonight. I am not even going to go back and stir this pot by quoting the dumb shit said through out this thread but i am going to defend one thing.
There is no clique of popular people getting their asses kissed here...... not at all, in any way. As someone that is mostly new myself this is the only board that I have found that has alot of people with alot of real POV and advice.
"the worst vice is advice"
"Those who have ears, let them hear"

soultoshare -> RE: Are any women on here real? (12/21/2006 4:02:13 PM)

came back to see what progress has been made with this.  There is only one thing I'd like to address about attacking people.  You, santori, sent me an e-mail, which I responded to in a non offensive manner.....even tho the last line was acknowledging that you would see the message as offensive, and damn, I was right.  (One of the good things that come with age is foresight.....).  It was in YOUR second e-mail that I believe you referred to me as insecure, which WAS an attack on your part.  The best thing you can do at this point, and it's been stated numerous times, is SINCERELY apologize to EVERYONE, and chill out and learn from all of this.  The folks here are a great bunch, if you'd take  the time to read the old forums, you'd see that.  One good part of this is that no one judges others, unless they are given a reason.  These forums are a great place to learn about everything to do with the lifestyle, I have learned tons of things here just reading.  And have met some really nice men here....it's not easy, just as it is in the vanilla world.....you've just got to learn how to recognize the weeds from the flowers.   'Nuf said.

I don't mind topic rehashing (as I realize it happens all the time) but this one can get to me depending on how it was done. Most of us got overwhelmed with bad inquiries when we joined.

What I object to so strongly was her comment that someone was taking objection to her attitude because she was young and attractive and still getting all the men and the woman in question was just jealous. I find that very rude, very uncalled for and very ignorant. To me, nothing excuses rudeness (true rudeness and not the silliness that the forums are so known for) and two wrongs do not make a right.

soultoshare -> RE: Are any women on here real? (12/21/2006 4:13:49 PM)

Damn....was having so much fun here, I just burned dinner!  What wine goes with scorched spaghetti??

nikaa -> RE: Are any women on here real? (12/21/2006 4:15:26 PM)

AquaticSub,

The reality is topics such as this WILL be rehashed if such topics get to you then I strongly suggest you avoid them because the reality is you NEVER know how people will approach such topics or how YOU will perceive them.

I saw the OP get defensive when other's responded negatively towards her. Again rudeness is based on personal perception.

I agree 2 wrongs don't make a right, however; those that live in glass houses should not caste stones.

My Dear Sir,

Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Kamran, and yes, I am her the OP's Master.  Although I tend to try to stay out of things and let my slaves make their own mistakes, I'm usually not far behind to catch them should they fall.

I have for the most part stayed out of this discussion, and simply offered my advice to her where I felt it was prudent, however I must now step in and say that you are out of line Sir.

With respect who are you to say that her idea's are and I quote "I would expect a site that claimed to weed out the stupid people to permanently blacklist any numbskull who thought for one minute that your picture scheme would work." There was absolutely no need to outright lash at her with intent to humiliate like you did, and specially coming in late like you did not knowing much of the conversation I would ventuer. I truly expected more from one mature in age and I hoped in wisdom as yourself. To what end was your intent? Are you angry with women and wish to put them in their place?

And to the rest of you who may have some validity in your claim that she was rude, I ask that you re-read her post with an objective view. Did she make some generalities yes, I agree. But she also stated that she had met some wonderful lesbians who did not accept the fact that I was in the picture, she was polite in her acceptance of that fact, which is a point many of you left out of your critiques. Yes, she made some general statements with one breath, then accepted that her blanket statements may not be true in another.

So why did everyone feel as though you needed to jump down her throat with comments like "Yet another whining thread about how people aren't *real*.
I award you one velveteen rabbit." Would you yourself have not felt slighted by such a comment had the post been yours?

I thank you all who offered her your constructive advice, and appreciate those of you who offered her words of encouragement, but an outright slap in the face from a man of maturing years is inexcusable, and immature.

Now with that, I would like to wish all a merry christmas, Happy Solstice, and blessings to all.

Kamran

Nope but we have had someone join CM just to come and tell us all off for being rude to his rude sub [:D]

In one post you said this

quote:

The rest of you... Thank you for your words, and your advice... I truly appreciate it, and this is the LAST time I will post on this forum.

And then you said this

ORIGINAL: sweetsatori

ORIGINAL: LuckyAlbatross

I will merely say that your attitude with your first post was extremely rude- would you have walked into a social and started your first conversation with someone like that?

Rude? How was I rude to anyone? please I would love for you to educate me, and I am not being sarcastic about this.

1. Did I single any one person out?
2. Did I say you are ALL fake and I'm the only one thats real?
3. Did I commit a social faux pas or however you spell it by trying to say I'm better than anyone?

Fine, so what I posted was repetitious... has been posted once every three months or however much for as long as the internet has been around... Well I would like to appologize for not knowing any better.

I never attacked anyone directly... and I clearly stated my frustration at the end by saying phew... ok thank you for letting me vent, in a round about way... you're right... perhaps I should have said Oh I'm sure you've heard this all before, but I really need to get it off my chest, so please feel free not to read it and go on to the next post if you wish... but I thought that people would be able to understand, and you know what? I didnt hold a gun to anyone head and force them to read this post... you could have easily said oh ok... she's venting, she's a kid, she'll learn and gone on reading the other posts.

But no... I am So evil for posting it up, and how dare I because I'm being rude to everyone? Why? How? The only people I was being rude to were the frustrating idiots I've had to deal with, and I didnt even name them off one by one.

But I'm being rude? So lets take a social situation... When you're in say a movie theater.. and some obnoxious girl comes in yelling at the top of her lungs... gets things off her chest about how the coke they sold her was flat, then sits down and shuts up... whats prudent? Should you isnult her back and all jump on her and call her names and berate her which does nothing more than encourage her to defend herself which leads to nothing but a yelling match wich gets nowhere? or would you perhaps go up to her and say hey, and quietly say ok look... you dont know, I've been here, done that, so let me tell you what to do, to which she will probably reply you know what? you're right... I'm sorry it was very rude of me, please accept my appology.

And we're not even at a movie theater.. I wasnt rude by yelling... I didnt direct my frustrations at any of you in here at all other than those who I have had bad experiences with, and yet I'm immature.. I'm rude.. and I'm stupid. Very well, I'm stupid, everyone else is right, and I should learn to keep my mouth shut because invariably does anyone truly care anymore? I'd venture to say not. Not about me... oh dont worry... I'm not looking for your pitty.. about holding people accountable.

A friend of mine told me this analogy and its oh so fitting... you're in a row boat, and your fast approaching a waterfall... you can work together and all paddle using your hands and maybe... perhaps maybe make it to shore and safety... but what happens? invariably there are one or two people paddling yelling hey... help us.. what the hell is going on.. cant you see this is wrong? and what do the rest do? Oh shut up and quit rocking the boat... thats just the way it is.. you may as well accept it... now quit bitching sit down and shut it.

Oh but you're right... its been said a million times... and no ones prepared to do a damn thing about it... so why bother saying it again? Just like this site... oh yea, you can post a blog, but oh no.. dont you DARE critisize another user, because god forbid we shoudl want to warn others about the fact that they are out to steal your money like that one guy did when he made a whole profile that sounded like the woman name to put the word out... God forbid that we should try to help protect people from scams, because it might just lower the user numbers, which means the site wont make money from advertising, and we'll actually have to pay for something.

Yea lets talk about petty meaningless things like what model kissed what other girl rather than hey... where the hell are we headed, and why the hell am I this handbasket?

I think you should of added the following sentence to your last post...

"The rest of you... Thank you for your words, and your advice... I truly appreciate it, and this is REALLY the LAST time I will post on this forum."
