I always was interested in vampire gloves, but never broke down and bought a pair.

The discussion on nipple toys has me feeling like a heavy pain player, which I hardly consider myself (except as a sadist).  Clovers on my nipples are no big deal, and I've had someone bite till it took a couple of days to visibly heal the skin on them (100%, no worries).  We graduated to handyman type clamps.  Some of those can leave a real pinch.  And rat traps, and oh lots of things I can't remember all of.  Tried the hair clippies too.  I don't generally enjoy pain, but nipples are an occasional exception.  Everyday items can be good and cheap, but occasionally there are some cool toys out there.  There was one that has a frame you loop the clover chain over, and turn a screw to pull the nipples out and out and out as desired.  I still have that one, it's pretty cool.

DO NOT start out with clover clamps!!  Holy mother of God.

LOL sorry I had to laugh at this, having just experienced them.  Yeah for those of you who are fortunate enough to have them clamped BEHIND the nipple, woo hoo, enjoy.  But right ON the nipple is no fun for sensitive lil ol me.  Then again I am a pain wimp, so I'll hang on here in that Holy mother of God camp, lol.

Ok, Vampire Gloves and breaking the skin:

The reason why VGs can break the skin is based on the density of the points. Less points means more of a chance of breaking the skin...more points means that the pressure is spread over more points and so drawing blood is less likely. This is why people can lay down on a bed on nails and have a concrete block broken on them.

Here's how to make a really cool Vampire mit. If you don't object to fur, I recommend getting a rabbit pelt. You can get them at a lot of bigger craft stores. Then get a bottle of fabric glue and a box of about 100 thumbtacks (with the flat metal heads). You'll also need needle and thread.

Fold the pelt in half with the fur sides facing each other. Stitch up 2 of the 3 free sides. You're hand should fit inside when you turn it right-side-out.
Working with it wrong-side-out, you're going to push a thumbtack through from the skin side to the fur side on ONE side of the glove. Put a dab of glue under the thumbtack head to keep it in place.
Continue to do this, putting them as closer together as you can get until you cover the whole side.
Let it dry overnight, at least, then turn it right-side-out.

Now you have a Vampire mitt on one side and a nice soft sensation mitt on the other.

Or if that description didn't give the full effect, stop by sometime (weg), Shifted has a pair of vampire gloves I am certain she would be happy to demonstrate...lol.

Gentle Nipple Clamps

  • Nipple jewelry is typically light.
  • Clothespins as someone mentioned before.
  • Hobby shops carry small non-spring-loaded (thumb-screw) clamps.
  • The small plastic clamps found on cell phone earpiece cords are extremely weak, although small.
  • In an emergency, I bought alligator clips from Radio Shack and used heat to weaken the springs. (Don't get the kind with plastic or at least remove the plastic first.)
  • My teeth.

experiment with stuff - and everyone's different. Clovers never fazed me but tweezer clamps drove me batshit when I was self-testing. Clip your clothespins to something for a few days that holds the jaws wide, and it will soften the pinch a bit. Or try the plastic kind, they're a little less aggressive I've found.

I must admit, I was surprised to see this, as well as talk of clothespins being too harsh; presumably being male makes a big difference here, but I find clothespins pretty tame (even though these were sold as "extra strong"!) - putting them on for a few minutes, then taking them off and immediately reattaching them turned through 90 degrees is pretty intense, though. For a few minutes at a time, I've found bulldog clips and the big clamps from a car battery charger are tolerable, but only just.

I've never tried clover clamps (yet); I've seen a few sites selling a pair joined with a bar, along with a screw to pull them away from the wearer's chest - usually expensive, but I do like the way they look...

the only thing i can handle is the tweezer clamps.....but they are fairly easily adjusted, so it is possible to vary the sensations.  Had the clover clamps on once.....for about 30 seconds........holy mother of god doesn't even come CLOSE to the words that came out of my mouth!  I have found the adjustable ones too small for me, they won't stay on, the tighter they are adjusted, the more they fall off.  As far as cost, I don't think I paid much more then $20 for the clamps.

Metal clamps with serrated edges and a rather wild eyed look.

For nipple clamps without such a bite to them, look for small C clamps in craft store (even $1 stores) You control the 'squeeze'ith them and the C is big enough to hang weights from as you get used to it.

I find this interesting, that Clovers launched me to hell and back, but tweezers seemed to be the only thing I can reasonably bear.  Must just be that everyone has different sensitivities of nerve endings and are affected differently.  Mine seem to be extra aware of what's going on around them, lol.  I'm going to have to toughen them up somehow, cuz holy mother of god I become paralyzed sometimes and he still wants me to dance around the room as though everything is peachy.  The last time, he pushed me face down on the bed, and when I smashed my clovered nipples into the mattress, well I hoped I would just pass out!

Try the clinging claw nipple clamps. They can be adjusted for mild to biting. I got them at the Stockroom.

raven says: the reason i prefer clovers to all other clamps, including clothespins, is that ... they can't slide off! *lol* well, if placed just behind the nipple, as described before. depends on who's pulling my chain, but overall, clamps sliding off are OWIE.

Sir's vampire gloves are black leather, at first i thought the points were thumbtacks, but examined them closely and found they were the base part of a rivet (for a rhinestone, or snap). a little circle with 4 triangular "teeth" pointing up. a lot more points, but not as likely to break the skin as to seriously abrade it. try to find a pic online for you ...

see the little circles? that'd be the base of the rivet thingies. could probably make them yourself with a BeDazzler, grins, just leave out the rhinestones.
