I have a yeast infection from hell!!!!!!!!!!!!! I havent had one of these in 20 years...What did I do to deserve this..

Cuddles if you have a partner the sex play or lube could be what caused you a YI, also don't have sex while you have a YI, it's transmitable to the male. Also it wouldn't hurt for your male partner if you have one to make sure it wasn't him who gave it to you. Sex with him could re yeast you.

Probably from too much sugar in the diet during this holiday season - or umm, sometimes oral or solo play, especially if you use spit as your lube and you/your partner were eating yummy sugary things beforehand. Cure - the OTC stuff from your drugstore, but do replenish your good bacteria with nice healthy UNSWEETENED yogurt or kefir. Not a bad idea to eat some every day, it keeps the yeastie beasties at bay (especially if you have a sweet tooth!).

i eat two yogurts a day only to keep the yeast infections away[&:] I understand how painful they can be sis (sorry)...try using the anti itch yeast creams on the market, they do offer some help...remember not to scratch it no matter how badly it itches, only makes it worse! There are so many things that cause yeast infections...ain't it beautiful being a woman?[&:] major causes of yeast infections: tight clothing, non cotton panties- dirty clothing..wet swim suits, etc antibiotics chemicals such as deodorants, laundry soap, etc.. some condoms alcohol and high levels of sugar in your diet hormones injuries to the vaginal area sexual intercourse ** weakened immune system

it's those damn antibiotics![:@] i usually ask my gynecologist for the yeast infection pill once i know i'm to take antibiotics...i wait two days then take it...like clockwork..

Yep antibiotics are lots of fun. I always ask for the yeast pill too when i get antibiotics just might as well get it over with right off. Less misery that way.

Apparently, some types of soap, like antibacterials for instance, can upset the skin's delicate balance of microscopic lifeforms (by killing a lot of them), and that allows things like yeast, which is on the skin all the time but held in check by the competition, to go haywire in the extra space it then has.
