~chuckle~ I don't deal with pain well. I can take a few licks silently but then not only do I cry out, I also have a tendency to move and / or hold my hands out to ward off additional blows, which (with my former Dom) provided us both with the release of laughter (and a good deal of cuddling). It is something I would like to practice, taking pain, but all in all I am a wimp of the first order.

When it comes to punishment, however (as opposed to play), I would far rather be slapped than for Him to withhold Himself or His affection from me. In that sort of pain, I am silent, but far more miserable.

He wants feedback on where I am. If he needs quiet, he brings out a gag which lessens the noise level but still allows him to know how I'm doing. If I don't offer feedback that he accepts it has happened that he's enjoying himself and suddenly I have to end things. Better that he knows I'm approaching my limit, or not handling things well from the beginning than this crashing halt occurs.

Well my current wonderful Master is not into pain play(Thank God) but my late Master was.  He did not like for me to make noise when he gave me pain but sometimes i could not help it.  I would rather he would have let me cry out but he did not want me to.

I am defintatley not quiet, even with a gag. This is just how I am. I enjoy it and show I do. Master enjoys my cries of pain and it just increases the excitement for both of us.
