I only have one profile, but have come across many, many others on here who have more than one. These are the types I have come across and the explanations I received for each when I asked about them: - People with both a submissive and a dominant profile. I used to wonder why they didn't just have one switch profile, but it was explained to Me that some of them cannot be dominant and submissive with the same person, so they are seeking two different people. Okay, but I think they should be upfront about it in the profile and/or letter of introduction rather than catching the other person off-guard when they come across the other profile (which I invariably will because I always check for this when considering any new submissive).
- People who are testing other people. A Domme I know created another fictitious Domme profile to test the loyalty of a submissive male she was considering. Unfortunately, he flunked the test.
- People who have annoyed everyone in town and gotten blocked under the one profile, so they set up another. Eventually, that one gets blocked, too, but it buys them some time.
- People who are part of a couple and have an individual and couple profile. This one makes perfect sense to Me as long as they explain the situation in each profile.
- Curiousity. They want to see the world from a different perspective.
- Men looking for cyber sex. They create a fictitious female profile in the hopes that they can get someone to cyber with them, since females are more in demand. Some are so desperate that they're straight and will even cyber with another straight male, while pretending they are a female.
Those are the only reasons I've heard of, but I'm sure there are others. Lady Topaz
