It is sad to keep losing the great ones, but i suppose inevitable.  O/our most recent loss is the death of James Brown, whose astounding influence on American music justly earned him the title "Godfather of Soul".

I so agree...the "Godfather of Soul" influenced so many artists.

Very sad.
Just watched him on the UK Music Hall of Fame show in Friday, and he still had it.  The man brought it everynight for 50 years.
