I have no problem "shopping" as I have specific needs.  Also, not every slave wants to be owned by a BBW.  So if I read a profile that meets My immediate criteria and says he can relocate, I'll inquire further.  he can answer or not, that will tell Me something also and will usually get put on "notes to self".

My profile makes is pretty clear what I am and what I am after.  I will sometimes contact people to make a (nice) comment about their profile.  However other than that I tend to leave it to others to contact me.

You know, it's rare, but on occation I am moved to message someone first.  I did so tonight and had a very pleasant and encouraging conversation with a newer member here.  I'll let y'all know how it goes [:D]

Depends upon my mood at the time and the person. Usually I have no problems making the first move. if I see something that I want then I go for it. I'm not one to sit back and wait because I've found some men are too shy to approach a woman. I am also the type who will go up and ask a man that I think is attractive to dance[:)]. I've only been turned down once, the rest seemed to be really happy that I approached them.

As a submissive who does not submit at a whim, I would certainly be flattered if a Domme approached me. I seek someone special not anyone, so to see someone show an interest in my profile and what I post, means they are more than serious about their approach. It sends a message out straight away that this is someone who deserves my respect.

I have no problem writing to someone first. Mostly if I'm making the first move, I am doing it with a woman, but I have written the first e-mail to a few men, also. Sometimes it works out well, sometimes it doesn't, just as when they write to me first.

I do love to be courted, but I don't have any problems with being more aggressive and showing my interest.

It is very rare for Me to initiate the first contact.  Being a Domme who is part of a couple, I understand that I am not everyone's ideal.  There are some that would never dream of involvement with a husband and wife.  Serving Me takes a exceptional individual.  Add in that I have a particular checklist of certain qualities one must possess, it makes for the proverbial needle in the haystack.  I still do have hopes that the odds will eventually be in My favor, but I digress.
 
When I am contacted by mail, I do see it that the one on the other end would aspire to be My next.  I do answer all emails, as I'm sure it takes the boys some courage to write.  Within the first exchange or two, I try to make My position clear in what I would hope to find, face pic required, and My expectations of real time.  I do not wish for correspondence to be a waste of My time or theirs.  Eventually, I do hope the right one will petition Me.
