Red, the brick is.  Communism gets broken when people are promised one chicken... then two.. .then told they're going to end up too fat eating eggs, so don't end up getting any chickens.

Lets put it this way, all politicians promise people chickens if they get votes, it does not matter what political ideology one follows.
