All right folks.................for my fellow BDSMer's who are also waging war against their lungs with those delectable, carcinogen-packed goodies in a box, I present to you, the "For the Smokers" post.

Who smokes?  What do you smoke?  How much?  I'll start.

Cigarette of choice:  Winstons, or Camel Full Flavor
How much?:  1 pack per diem  (365 per annum)
7,300 cigarettes smoked per year.

I love smoking.  Of course, I live with the constant awareness that quitting would be a pretty awesome idea, but I don't want this to be a preachy post.....so please refrain from telling me your most heart-wrenching "I know so-and-so that died from lung cancer" stories.  TreSwank appreciates your concern, but this is for folks that love to smoke (nicotine gluttons).

Camel full flavor... 1/2 to 1 pack a day... sometimes less... or Djarum black kretek clove cigarettes... or Dreams chocolate mochas.

white chocolate or strawberry kiwi blunts[;)]  when I go to buy my supplies when I roll my own I only use coconut rolling papers~ proud to say that I rarely smoke these days maybe 1-2 blunts a month, if that..And PLEASE don't tell me how dangerous marijuana is ...I have been smoking for over 20 years (except when I was pregnant or breast feeding) and I'm doin aight.[:)]

Marlboro Full Flavor 100s (weren't they better when the box was gold?)

1-2 packs a day, 3+ if i'm stressed or drinking hard

smoke a little weed every now and again; sometimes because i feel i need it, but mostly because i like it

Richmond Superking lights..... 1-3 packs of 20 a day - average 2 packs, say.

Thats 365 x 2 x 20 = 14,600 a year, or at GBP 5-00 a pack = GBP 3650-00, which accounts for around GBP 5000-00 of my salary before tax, so about 14% of my salary is cigarettes.

Of that GBP 3650-00, around GBP 3-00 is tax = GBP 2190-00 a year for the government to spend on crap I mainly dont use/need. Most galling is, to be told I'm costing the health service money by smoking! How many other patients pay as much I wonder? And worse still, if thats possible, is that on the continent, cigarettes cost a half to an eighth they do here and the government rails about people smuggling!

Two very good reasons for me to give up I'd say. A 14% salary increase just by giving up cigarettes? Rob the government of over two grand into the bargain? I'm up for that.

But what other legal means of suicide are available I wonder?

Ahhh, when I sneak smoke (and I ain't sayin' how often or how many) I smoke Nat Shermans. They're full-bodied and beautiful and come as close as a cigarette can come to matching the flavor of a good brandy-dipped stogie.

Although I enjoy it, I know one day, I must stop.  However, I saw on a joke calendar once that in the South, tobacco is a vegetable.  So, to help the Commonwealth I live in and stay on top of the food pyramid...  I choose Virginia Slim Ultra Lights (non-mentol).  I smoke between 5 - 8 per day.  And for the record, Daddy hates it, but is letting me do this on my own.  Thank God everything doesn't need micro-managing...  [;)]

Lucky Strike filtered.  BA Tobacco discontinued them here in the states so I have to buy them from Europe, but at least now I won't settle for gas station cigs.  I probably average a stick daily. 

When the partying stops, so does the smoking, and I want to make that as easy as possible.

i dunno the difference......but they come in a pretty lil copper colored box......and they arent too bad.......lil harsh......but what do i know.....i smoke red 100's
