Now get political on THAT ! Ha.
Been working on this for a couple months, still ain't perfect. But even not copyrighted I decided to post it. The reasons being that even though I can perform it and get praise over it, I don't really expect to ever make money from music. Actually I watched my favorite hobby, electronics, become nothing but a job. I used to really enjoy getting the scope probe out and the print, figuring out how each little circuit worked, doing things the others couldn't. It was fun. Now it is a job. It can still really troubleshoot but we need to make money so I use databases and all that, as a shortcut, a shortcut to making money.
A friend and I had a discussion many many years ago about why a band's first album was usually the best. It is because they spent their whole life creating it. Once signed up with a record company they must do an album a year or two. Perhaps they'll buy song, hire a writer or do covers (copies).
Look at the diversity of many bands on their first album. This is not true of all bands, but it is definitely true of some, many of the more popular ones in the US, some in the UK or whatever.Bands like Boston, Kansas, mainly mainland bands.
So, I decided that even if someone steals these words, just give credit where credit is due. I've also got a rif for it that is worthy of a 12 string, if you can play it. It's only a couple months old and I don't think I've gotten through it once without an error. But I will.
