I was always interested to know mistresses idea about slaves begging: Do you prefer your slave or submissive beg you for forgiveness while he/she receiving physical punishment? Some mistresses order their slaves to be quite during the punishment or gag them in order to keep them quiet; however I have read in forums that some likes to see their slaves begging for mercy. What is your favourite style? I need to mention as an slave or submissive I like to beg my mistress for mercy before starting the punishment but not while she is whipping me; it makes me very uncomfortable to talk during the punishment.

I think it would be quite humiliating to have to beg for anything, I think it takes some balls to do that. I'm sure its a turn on for many D and s.

Beg for forgiveness for what? Punishment for what? A corporal scene with a bullwhip is not always punishment. Sometimes whipping a boi is just whipping a boi, for a myriad of reasons: 1. the boi craves it 2. it excites me 3. it relieves my stress at the end of a trying day 4. it's just a tease with the end of the whip and not a severe whipping Whatever MY reason for a corporal scene, whether it be whipping, flogging, caning, wand, paddle, cbt, whatever, I prefer a sub to be fairly stoic. I can't imagine having a sumissive who would need to be 'punished' by way of corporal scening. But then, I detest the whole 'bad boy' mentality, anyway. I guess a 'bad boy' who 'wants to be punished' would never be one I'd consider for service, anyway. A masochistic submissive who wants and craves pain is an entirely different matter; such a one is the only sub who will catch My interest to begin with. On to the next question. TexasMaam

When is the fine line between appropriate deferential and humble behaviour and begging crossed? To me the sometimes elaborate ritual of begging seems more of a role play scenario and less an integral part of the submissive's required demeaner. I guess like every other "activitity" discussed in these forums from cuckoldry, to strap-ons to golden showers, it all depends on the wishes of the Woman. i'm finding that endeavouring to be an owned lifestyle slave is not such an easy thing! It really means putting all one's little needs and desires on the back burner of learning to focus entirely on the Woman and what She wants. Maybe in the ideal world what most Dominant Woman want is simply a male who does as he's told, learns quickly and knows how to anticipate what's expected. If begging is what's required he learns to do it well..if not he doesn't. Oh well, there's my first ramble of the New Year.

I prefer begging for things like attention or to be touched or to be noticed or for more of some activity. When I punish, it is for a real problem and there is no room for begging for mercy. There is only room for admitting the errors, fixing the problem, and honestly agreeing to work harder in the future.

Personally, I'm not a fan of 'begging'; I find it too much like whining. I do, however, enjoy making a boy ask for what he wants. I like to enjoy that tender humiliation when he's made to put into words what it is he wants. As far as punishment goes...mine is never corporal. We talk, we work things out. Beatings are for fun and often rewards for good behavior, actually. MsB PS...TammyJo handles 'begging' much the way I do in her new book "Servants of Destiny". Tal and greetings In Gor, a slave when commanded to "Kneel to the Whip" could not beg but take the punishment in silences. Many Houses also had a "Whipping Post" a slave put on the post could beg if the Master/Misters permited. I wish you well Nosathro

I don;t ever begged in anyway or form in all of my life, except maybe when I was a child and nagging my mother or father for something. Despite being a sub, I have trouble seeing myself to even beg without laughing. "Please Ma'am, can you tie me up and beat me up? pretty please? Sugar and many slaves on top?" ...no, that even that causing me to smile and smirk from writing it. :p -mellian

I think I got the picture, thanks every one for your comments. I guess the conclusion is neither domes nor subs like begging. Also I agree with some of you that not all the times beating is for punishment, in fact some times it is a reward or just a game. Personally I can differentiate between the major misbehaving which can end up to a moral discussion and a minor mistake that can happen in middle of the training or in the day to day slave's duties. I guess corporal punishment for the second group can be quite valid because it is quite meaningful in D/S relationship and can be the enjoyable part of role playing game. I am sure that there are some subs that like to receive a good punishment form their serious mistress when they forget to do kiss her hand (or feet) before …

[:)] If my boy does something wrong then i like him to apoligise and ask me to punish him accordingly. When ive ever had people beg me before ive found it amusing becasue it sounds silly. That said i do like it if i have him tied to my bed and im tickling him and he is beggin me to stop[:D] I think thats becasue i like that he cant stop smiling as he begs me [:)]

I, for one, said that I like begging, in fact, let me be clearer -- I adore begging -- but it has to be for things not to avoid things. Begging to be let off the hook shows a lack of respect for my rules and for our dynamic. However begging for something can demonstrate a deep desire that is really very erotic. Is it easy to do? No, but it also doesn't need a formal or a specific form. It is best when it comes from deep inside and represents an intense desire. It can also be a great way for a slave to express interests without feeling like he is dictating. For example when flogging someone it is very hot that as I slow down they look over their shoulder with a tremble in their voice and a desperate look in their eyes and beg "please don't stop, Mistress".

You hit the nail on the head (the little one this time)! I love being teased endlessly and having to beg for, ask for, or admit what it is that I want! I like begging, but not for leniency during punishment, which is something I would very rarely do if I'm with the right sub/slave for me. I love begging from a well behaved boy for something he wishes to be allowed to do or have done to him, as that does turn me on... My boy would have to know appropriate timing (something which becomes apparent from conversing with me, and being around me) for this to happen though. M
