A corset should be fitted by waist size not dress of boob size, try the London fetish fair, the london alternative market or the birmingham bizzar bizzar, or try camden market in london.... I have been wearing corsets a lot for several years now, I found that what worked best was going and trying them on, finding out what suited me, what felt great then ordering them online, can save about 1/3 off the price easily.
Alternatly if you don't like off the peg, try having one made for you...

measure your waist size take 4 inches off of it and then you have your corset size.

Axfords or Vollers, buy online using the above 4-inch rule. I have bought her many corsets and Axfords' customer service is as impressive as their value for money

What was not indicated here was the basic type of corset that is wanted in terms of function.  There are fun corsets that are less serious and may just be elastic, and are more lingerie than a true corset, and often sized in regular sizing S-M-L-XL etc.  Then there are the inexpensive "cheapie" corsets that look like true corsets but is inferior material, less boning and key strength features, and can be had for around $80 to $120 or so, and usually go by the waist size reduced by the 4" or so range. But wouldn't advice these for the second type of function which is "tight lacing." These are quite often with the purpose of affecting permanent waist reduction, and figure reshaping.  For this I would suggest starting off with a good off-the-rack one so would be spending from about $120-$200, and once you know you are serious have a custom one made as your next step, so then those are generally from $250 or so on up to about $600, and maybe more.  But worth every penny for the true tight lacer as they will last much longer, and overall have much less chance of back pain and general discomfort.  Ideally you should have two on hand so one can be laundered and have time to dry (or maybe dry clean) as you maybe wearing it 23 / 7 which is the best way to move the bone of the lower rib cage inwards, and organs around (the one hour non-wearing is for bathing only).  Also will need some liners to go in-between it and your body and make the corset stay cleaner and last longer.  It is not so much how tight you wear them, but how long and steady you do. And the worse thing to do is to jump in and start major "tight lacing" that hurts you, and your ability to breath, so maybe 2" in to start, then 3" then finally 4" just depending on your weight and build.  Slow and steady is far better option.   Another benefit of corsets is it encourages you to eat less, and means you should eat more frequently and smaller healthy meals and snacks.

Also what you want to consider is the style of corset as some are underbust (some short bustiers), some partial over breast (need very good fit for these) and some are over breast with a push in and up, and a few have cups.  We woman may be short-waisted or long, and that is a significant factor as to the proper fit and the best styling for your particular figure, and figure objectives.  Also how far over the hip and rear is important to determine, and the longer is generally more restrictive and as worn for BDSM is more controlling over the submissive/slave.  Many corsets have multiple matierial layers and the outer one can be plain, or with eye appearling material and patterns.  If you plan to wear it under clothes only then a plain materia is good, and for outer wear (say over a tight fitting dress or above a skirt then leather, silk in solid or pattern might be what you want.  Personally I want both but will start off with the figure training underclothes one.

I would inquire for any internet purchase for a ready made corset to inquire about their sizing and compare that to your measurements (corset ones, not generally ones used for dresses), and return policy if does not fit right.  Better off the rack ones can go from $120 to about $200.    And if successful tight lacers it is quite common to go to a smaller corset waist size in 6-12 months.

There are some very good groups on yahoo that go into the above and much more, and I am learning a lot from the highly experienced lacers there.  I hope that my future master will also appreciate the corseted woman, and is interested in at least having me wear them part-time to full-time.  BTW, the one in my profile photo is elastic and more for appearance but the feeling of being corseted in is great for the body and the mind, and for it's very feminine sub-appearance. And the tight lacing ones benefits from someone else lacing you in (takes lots of strong pulling and to use a pattern of doing this)  and can tie the laces to make it impossible to free yourself.  So hopefully your dom will cherish this aspect as well. Good luck and enjoy this sub-pleasure!

I don't know where to look but I know how you can make one. Put on a garbage bag and then wrap duct tape around your body as tight as you can. Take off with one cut in the back and you already have your perfect pattern. I'm sure you can find someone in your area to help with the rest.

Beautiful corsets, though highly priced.

Fast reply!

They're based in North America, but Meschantes and Dark Garden have always done well by me! Dark Garden in particular is pricey as hell, but the quality and custom fit are outstanding.
