i know that this topic has been covered alot lately, but htisis slightly differant. I am a very big girl...no bones about it...and Master and I are tying the knot later this year. Im looking for a corset suitableto wear under my wedding dress. I have approached a ebay store( the name i cant remember atm but it has been highly recommended here) and they suggesteda silk or satin one that is lined with steel boning...my problem is i cant find any online.. does anyone have any recomendations..

I'd be happy to point you to some resources for people who do custom-made ones- but having an idea about your budget would be helpful- send me a message on the "other side" if you don't feel like posting that stuff here.
Probably your best option would be to pick out the fabric you want to have as the outside of the corset (perhaps with assistance from the person creating it so that you know it will be right, etc.), and get enough for the corset itself and possibly a matching skirt that you could make (or have a friend or another professional) make for you to match if you're looking to coordinate the pieces.

Eep, corset under the dress. Well, still, might be more cost effective to pick out the fabric yourself. Design will also depend on whatever dress you have picked out- if you have one picked already?

I'd suggest you just get a wedding dress that has a corset in it.  Corset style gowns are very common and come in a lot of different styles.  It won't have the "ability to completely make you pass out" like a "serious corset" will- but that also means that the boning will work with your curves and make a nice outline, rather than fighting against every bulge.  The singular piece of it will help allow the outline to flow with your body, rather than having to coordinate two pieces together (a difficulty with corsets occasionally).

Ohh good call MasterFireMa'am  torrid has some nice ones and they run from about $50 which is really really good though I dont think the quality is the best in the world because they really arent made for the fetish perposes but more because right now it is a trendy thing but  they are really pretty and much much less expensive then getting one made they make them in my size and if they make um that big Id bet they had one in your size too!!

This place had very pretty/good quality (strong steel boning) and very reasonably priced corsets when I saw them and tried one of their corsets on, so hope it helps.  M

www.stormy.leather.com now does silk/satin corsets. and they do up to a 5x in sizes.

I have worn (my first two purchases) a cotton training corset designed for everday wear under clothing as well as a finer black silk one from this manufacturer for a year now. The quality is wonderful. I found them orginially on eBay, so bargains are also available. They have off the peg styles and customs fit to your measurements. I suggest asking Master to measure you for accuracy. Its always better to have someone else do your measuring. Talk to one of the sales girls. They are quite informed.

Practice wearing it before your big day to know your limits. Passing out is a possibility especially during stressful situations. Find one with lots of support so you can wear it comfortably.

i work for a company that specializes in corsets.  We do custome orders also and can most deffinately find You a style and size that compliments Your shape and wedding.  Deffinately consider silk (or at least white leather, nothing like black showing threw a white top.. acks).  We offer many styles that would honestly look wonderful by itself with a wonderful wedding skirt only needed (and veil too!).  Please check out the website and know that i believe all styles can be custome ordered with different fabric colors or leathers.  and please don't hesitate to ask any questions you may have or call the number on teh webpage and the owners would be more than happy to help..

For stockings......Lane Bryant.com or Catherines.com.  I don't remember which, but were the only ones that came even close to my size.

Leg Avenue stockings run really small!  So take that in account if you decide to go that route.

Another option is if you have one custom made they can do double boning, that is two bone strips together where there is normally just one.  I highly suggest you go to a corsetier and have one custom made to fit you.  It will last longer and is a good investment, you can pick your materials. 

I also agree with LA, why not choose a wedding dress that has a corset built into it?
