It's late, I've had a long day, so this will be short for now but I plan on expanding my theory some this weekend. I simply wanted to put it out there for those who might be interested to ponder a bit.

Think about this a bit. Do you know anything about physics? Well it fits in with BDSM somewhat. I could actually calculate (if you are a geek like me and really wanted to know this stuff) how much force you are being struck with when the switch is decending on your ass. It's a simple formula F = M*A. Force equals Mass times Acceleration. It's not the stregnth of the Dom(me) that determines the force delivered. It's the acceleration with which you are struck. The mass of the switch or paddle is constant (unless you really wanted to get technical then the faster you go, the heavier the object gets i.e. the closer to the speed of light an object travels the closer it comes to infinate mass.) Do you think Tiger Woods is the strongest golfer in the world? Nope, there are many out there who are stronger than him. He has such speed in his swing that he strikes the ball with incredible force. His body turns more fully and therefore he is able to generate more clubhead speed through the ball. The same applies to being spanked. The faster the paddle moves toward your ass, the more force you will be struck with.

Now I'll go into how Einstein relates to BDSM at a later time. But let me just state the theory I have come up with. It is based in no scientific facts just something I thought deserved a bit of thought. While a Dom(me) is administering a scene to a submissive....can the theory of relativity relate to the submissive obtaining subspace? And is there a possible way of generating a wormhole (theoretically of course)? Is this all relative to the perspective of the viewer? Can time and space be "warped" while the submissive isa in subspace? How is cheese related to all this?

That and more coming up next time on "It's the Mind"....hehehehe.









I also have questions about starting a fire by generating enough heat caused by the friction of intercourse, but that is another thread.

The physics you describe explains why single tails pack such a punch. The sound the cracker makes when a whip is cracked correctly is the sound barrier being broken.

Interesting (and fun) theory you're putting forward on subspace. I remember the first time my sub did needle play. The session lasted well over an hour, during which time her favorite song on the stereo played dozens of times. After the session her only recollection of the music playing was she'd heard the song play through once -- possibly twice. Time after that lost all meaning for her as from her perspective, she remarked that she thought the whole experience had only taken ten minutes or so. So yes, time in this sense is most definitely relative to the perspective of the viewer.

This isn't quite on the same topic but i think appropriate here. I wrote my Master's thesis on the effect of knowlege of results on force reproduction. At the time i knew nothing about BDSM, but now i see it could be applicable. I ran several experiments and the results always showed that it was easier to reproduce the same force if given knowledge of results, as a calibration of some sort. So if a sub screams under the force of a whip and you want to repeat the same force to get the same scream it shouldn't be too difficult LOL.[:)]

You may want to check with Steven Hawking to confirm this but you may be on the fringe of a new discovery. Chemical Relativity.

I didn't spend a lot of time considering this but here's a quick overview.

The brain is a chemical machine. Molecules move at certain speeds to produce all the reactions the brain can create. Adrenaline causes these reactions to occur faster.

If a Dom/me striking their sub causes adrenaline to be pumped into the body it will result in a speeding up of the molecules in the subs brain.

As we all know, time compresses for a sub while in subspace. In other words, hours seem like minutes. This is the same effect you would experience accelerating through outer space according to Einstein's theory.

So far this all works.

Now...we may yet need to consider collision, impulse, and the transfer of energy but according to this theory if a Dom/me strikes their sub hard enough and fast enough the molecules in the subs brain should accelerate to a point where they become so heavy that they generate a gravity well (i.e. worm hole)

And there you have it.

How is cheese related to all this? It may very well be all that's left of your sub by the time you prove this theory!

P.S. I'm still working on the thermal properties of matter, intercourse, and fire generation but I'll let you know when I've got it figured out.

Wow, what a timely post! I am literally in the middle of watching NOVA's "The Elegant Universe" documentary by Brian Greene off of the website for the second time. It's a great book too!
According to quantum mechanics there is an extremely small possibility that if you paddle your sub's ass long enough (close to an eternity) the paddle will actually pass through the sub entirely. *I bet that would sure smart [:@]* This sort of thing happens all the time on extremely small subatomic levels.
One interesting thought.... should the paddle be made out of steel, there would be a very slight, almost entirely undetectable attraction between the paddle and the sub's ass due to the iron in their blood.
And according to the string theory wormholes happen all the time on subatomic levels. So the possibility is there! *grin* though it's late and I could be way off here, the principles are there.

I saw this post last night....read it through 3 times. I don't know a darn thing about physics. I told Sir to come check out the post cause this kinda stuff is right up His alley. Glad he could respond in an intelligent manner. I had planned on responding but the only thing I walked away from this post with was thinking about your explanation as to why Tiger Woods is a superior golfer....how he has such speed in his swing and strikes with such incredible force....I might like to be flogged by him.
