I talked to a friend who said my fantasizing is normal and it's about trying to control the situation but I can't seem to come to terms with it. I was raped as a teenager by a women and now I can't seem to get aroused by anything but a rape fantasy. My assault seems to be the worst experience of my life with all the problems that arise from sexual assault. Is there anyone in my situation that could offer some further insight. No guessing please. Lost

Rape fantasies are fairly common. It might not have anything to do with being raped. Were those thoughts there before the rape or only after? I have also been raped, and I find myself thinking about it more than I'd like as well. I can't quite draw the line between remembering the event and fantasizing about it. It bothers me a lot too actually.

It was a long time ago and I can't really remember if I fantasized about it before it happened, but I've been fantasizing ever since and now it seems like the only way to get me aroused, boo. It just seems so wrong and it has an effect on my self-esteem. I don't really fantasize about the assaulter, any women will do.

I too was raped and have rape fantasies. Funny thing is I know the fantasy is exciting and real rape is not so I don't act on the fantasy as once it hit reality I'm not so sure I'd like it. I think you honestly should see a sex councilor and get your sensual sexual feelings sorted out. suzanne

Rape fantasy is one of the highest fantasies as far as sexual gratification is concerned while real rape is totally contrary to it.Since you have been raped in your teens, memories of those moments have made a permanant place in your subconcious which do not allow you to think otherwise.What i am going to write now may sound foolish,but i think i should still write it.If at some point of time you again get rapped, may be you may never wish it again.It has rightly been put above by onestandingstill,rape fantasy gets washed away once you face it because you find it totally against your imaginations.It is out of experience of some women rapped in real.It has never been the way they had seen it.

I have not been raped or molested or abused myself. But I've had rape fantasies before I even knew what sex was. It was the only fantasy of mine that really freaked me out. rape is so awful and wrong, how could I WANT it? Even then I knew I didn't really want to be raped, I wanted the feeling. But all I knew was rape itself so I was caught in my fantasies. Imagine my thrill the day of finding out I could consent to the rape and enjoy it as a "real fantasy"! Rape play is nothing like actual rape. While I know many people who have been raped can use the rape play as a way to work through their issues, it's not really a method I recommend, but I wouldn't try to prevent them from doing it as long as they were with someone competent doing it.

i have rape fantasies all the time so you're not alone. for me it's about the rush and excitement being forced into sex by an unknown assialant. once i start thinking about it during sex, i get the best orgasms ever.
