Why is it so special?
What takes place ?
Where is it suppose to happen?

i think ( and im only recalling what i have read on the forum) that is is a little like a wedding.. but not legally binding...it can be any size or type of affair.. very much like this lifestyle there are as many ways to hold a collaring as there are ppl in this world... as long as it means something special to you both, it doesnt have to involve other ppl or you can have a huge growd... your call.

i know a couple that added it into their nilla wedding... they added a few words into thier own vows that meant something special to them but seemed innocent to the others...

as for my collaring.. we didn't so anything "special " at the time but we are getting married in sept adn we are adding our own little thing in the ceremony... instead of the usual "i do" we are adding our own little mantra that we say to each other everyday when i'm submitting to my Master. I say "for all the tomorrows" and he says "till the stars grow cold". This is also what we use when he wants me at his feet and we are with family as it is a sweet thing to say but it has that hidden meaning. the point of that blurb was to demostrate if you want loved ones there but dont want them to know.. call it a commitment ceremony and add your own little touches that your nilla friends/family wont pick up on.
