I feel this falls under random thouts.

I understand that the net is a great way to connect to like minds and all . but as u can read from most profiles. PPl are stupied when messaging. There are way too many ppl out there on the net looking for a one night stand... How hard is it to go to some random bar in any local town and buy someone a few drinks to show that u are interrested.. its alot faster and has a better outcome as far as time fram....
all i am pissed about is it makes it harder for the normal ppl to conect to someone they are tring to learn mora about.
messaging someone a pic of your naked bodu and telling them what all the things u are into is a great way to show another who you really are but not in the first few contects... or if they dont ask!

If i am out of place in this thout?????

Actually, I agree with you. The looking for one night stands online never did make a whole lot of sense to me except that you are anonymous and can hide a lot of faults. So you find someone you can talk to, you talk to them, you get them to agree to meet you and then once you meet if they are disappointed they can turn and walk away or give into and enjoy the one night stand. Most, since it is a one night stand will stay for that anyway.

It does make it more difficult for those of us that are serious, and perhaps it would be easier if there were two separate areas of profiles... Fast lays, Serious Long Time Relationships... lol.

As I've been told in the past. Some people freeze up when talking to the opposite sex in person.
Actually as a Christmas gift for a friend of ours we purchased him two tickets to go to a show/play with us.
It cost a lot for around here....150 a ticket. It will be a great first date for him.

He is now at the point he has chosen people we know from places around town he would like to ask and cannot for whatever reason.
I'm almost to the point of asking them out for him. How hard can it be?

Anyway, that is a major reason people choose the net...because it is the only way they can stand tall and ask.
