I find this quite quite in the line of BDSM...i maybe interpret things a little differently than others. This can mean different things for different folks - but to me it is about "real" bondage..smiles...the joy of being tied down - how your body adjust to it - and how my mind prepares to have my abilities to move taken away - and willingly  - not forced...
i am sure this was not exaxtly what Mr Lincoln meant..smiles..but i like that quote nevertheless, and finds it perfect for a quote about bondage.

Well...again - Keller might have talked about other things - But she says it wonderfully. Security is indeed nonexistant. We will all hurt some day - and to just wander through - trying to avoid living it fully - will bring us pain anyway...life IS a daring adventure - just like BDSM is and can be - if You do not live Your life fully - You are not living...It may be dangerous to embark on a BDSM journey, too - but if You do not try..You will experience nothing...s. i often do not take words litteraly - i find other means in them - could be because i am a writer,and have a very vivid imagination. i like to paint pictures with my words - hoping people can see the bright colors i am trying to bring out..s..

I am just curious as to why you see the above quotes as related to BDSM?
To me they are about totally different things.
