It's late and I'm sleepy, so this post is probably going to be much less detailed than I'd normally make an introductory post. (Which is just as well, I tend to be a bit over the top.)

I've been lurking for a while, though I just registered yesterday. Sometimes I feel a little intimidated, but I'm thinking I'll go for a sink or swim attitude here.

I'm not certain as to why the sheep is smirking. I'm convinced it's related to this -

although it could just be my love for simple alliterations. Because being set on fire isn't necessarily a reason to smirk ...

A wonderful, evocative name which certainly attracted my attention, and an articulate profile.

I even have a Finnish joke for you:

Two Finns walk into a bar, and are soon served their pints of beer.

The first one raises his mug to the other. "Cheers," he says.

The second one glares at his friend in annoyance. "Did we come here to drink, or to talk?"

I actually know little about Finnish culture, although I've read a little about their mythology. Do you like Aki Kaurismaki?
