This is who I hope to vote for next election. Check out this outfit. Doesn't this look with the boots and black coat just scream Domme?

Here's what the Washington Post had to say about it....

quote:

Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice arrived at the Wiesbaden Army Airfield on Wednesday dressed all in black. She was wearing a black skirt that hit just above the knee, and it was topped with a black coat that fell to mid-calf. The coat, with its seven gold buttons running down the front and its band collar, called to mind a Marine's dress uniform or the "save humanity" ensemble worn by Keanu Reeves in "The Matrix."

As Rice walked out to greet the troops, the coat blew open in a rather swashbuckling way to reveal the top of a pair of knee-high boots. The boots had a high, slender heel that is not particularly practical. But it is a popular silhouette because it tends to elongate and flatter the leg. In short, the boots are sexy.

Notice that the image has been clearly cropped. Secretary Rice is obviously presenting her boot to be licked. What I want to know is who is that kneeling before her? Based on the whole article, it couldn't have been the Washington Post reporter, as (s)he is certainly to Ms. Rice's right, kissing her ass. Where was Cheney yesterday, anyway?

It will probably be Schwartzenegger versus Hillary in 2008

Sad to say.

There hasnt been any one decent to vote for since I started voting as far as im concerned.

If they stopped being compulsive liars and stop giving themselves huge raises ever year
mabye I might have some respect for them.

Governments...in general...ultimately turn out to suppress its population...as history shows.

You do realize it's currently impossible for Schwartzenegger to be president, right?

Yes..its unconstitutional.

But if the RNC and Arnolds backers get their way...The Constitution in its presnt form wont mean a thing to them and they will seek to override constitutional law.

With this recent administration..it wouldnt suprise me if they set up a "con-con" just for this puprose.

I meant her taste in clothing. I'm certainly no fashion guru, then again I'm not in the limelight of the entire world either.

She could dress better.

No, it probably won't. Arnie doesn't meet the constitutional requirements, so unless there is a constitutional amendment passed soon, he'll never even see the ballot. Strike one.

According to Article II, Section 1 of the constitution, a president can't grant himself a pay raise. Strike two.

Presidential salaries have been raised a grand total of FIVE times since George Washington was president.

1789 - $25,000 - George Washington
1873 - $50,000 - Ulysses S. Grant (2nd term)
1909 - $75,000 - William Howard Taft
1949 - $100,000 - Harry Truman
1969 - $200,000 - Richard Nixon
2001 - $400,000 - George W. Bush

Adjusting for inflation, the salary for the office of president has actually *decreased* since the days of our first President. Strike 3. You're out.

Don't be so sure. Congress could EASILY open up a Constitutional Convention to change the constitution to let an immigrant become President...Knowing how this Republican, neoconservative controlled house votes..it wouldnt suprise me at all.

So...Strike one on YOU. Smarty panties.

Well to me..400, 000 a year is way too much pay for this clown.

They are supposed to serve US...not WE THE PEOPLE serving the government.

Congress just voted themselves a raise a few months ago BTW.

So..in summary...a politician is a politician..with the exeption of a tiny few,

they are all corrupt to the core.

IMHO

Don't hold your breath. The same right wing majority that voted Shrub into the White House isn't ever going to allow a constitutional amendment that allows a "foreigner" a shot at the White House. It just won't happen. You'll get the job before 'Ahnold' ever will.

That's another matter entirely.

Oh jeez you too, can't we just all get along! We've got nearly 4 more years before dealing with this BS again. Maybe Conda and Hilliary will settle the whole thing in a Steel Cage - Cat Fight match on pay per view.

Besides, you're both from MA, and as a 'blue state' you voted for the other guy. You know the one that voted for war expenditures. No I mean voted against war expenditures. No really it was he voted for war expenditures, but MEANT to vote against war expenditures. OR something like that!

I didnt vote for Scary Kerry or Dumbya.

I think ludicrous defense spending only serves to feather certain peoples and corporations pockets and does not make us any safer.

I suggest a real "defense" instead of what we have now..which is an "Offense".

BTW.....

Ive lived in several states, north, south and east in my short 33 years.

Please keep your twisted fantasies to yourself. That's so amazingly wrong. Unless there are chainsaws involved, of course.

I'm not from Massachusetts, and aside from the fact that it wasn't for that asshat Bush, I'm pretty sure you have no idea how I voted.
