I had them on my daughters bed when she was little.
It may not be the correct thing to do, but once a week I washed it in the washing machine in cold water with my white loads of clothes.
It lasted 4 years till I didn't require it any longer.

i would think you could get them at a medical supply store.. the kind that has stuff for the elderly... if not at your local big store...

upon taking the time to try and look up rubber sheet care, i found a cool site...
http://www.twistmyrubberarm.com/store/sleepsacks/bed-cover-play-sheet-vinyl-pvc-std.htm
this is the page that has the sheet on it, but be sure to check out the rest...  if you dont wanna look.. it says "The bed cover is great for play as it is easy to clean; simply wipe and dry or machine wash." other than this, i havent really found anything pertinent...sorry

Thank you ladies! I was planning on just washing in warm soapy water in the tub and air drying, but didn't know if it would get sticky...

Like do i need to talc it, or shine it???

I got it from a kink sight... It is VERY sexy to lay on and have someone run rubber gloves all over you... Or maybe that is just me!

Just where does one get a rubber sheet?  I've never seen one before.

Places like Sears, Wall Mart, Target or JC Pennies carry them.
Maybe a linen specialty store like Linen n things would have them too.
Basically they're in big department stores near the regular sheets.

PS now I saw the photo of the sheet you discuss I'd like to say the ones in the regular stores are not like that.
They are thin white plastic to prevent people urinating on their mattresses.
The sexy black rubber one is more of a kink item.
I think if you can find a source for the vacuum beds they'd have something like that.

As to washing it and then what.
I'd suggest air drying it then turning it inside out and doing it again to get both sides.
Using powders or things,  I don't see any reason to & it will get on you when you lay on it.

There is a store in the UK called Between the Sheets which sells bed sheets in several different fabrics including latex and PVC.

ruuber sheets/latex sheets....they need to be free of body sweat (sweat eventurally eats the rubber!),so warm water and liquid soap (you know the mild hand soap) is just fine for washing . Air dry ,try to keep out UV rays (sunlight),and abby powder after they dry will keep your sheets nice . As for lube, well hell that can be fun as well. Usea  silicone lube like Pjur Bodyglide and you will be slip sliding all over!

rubberist here :-) ask away I have POUNDS of the stuff...from clothing to sheets and hoods galore!

Sheets are pricey...about $200 or more.....syren and polymorphe are a few brands that are good.

enjoy! Feral

~points at feralcat's post~
Yep. Wash, dry, talc, and keep in the dark when not in use. When you do use it, polish it up with silicone lube or RubbaWear Latex Shine.

I just opened a box of latex clothes and went to put on a latex glove and it ripped to shreds, I'm so frustrated. I'll be searching for latex wear on e-bay now, to replace them.
