Status: offline 		After attempting to read some of the "tribute" threads, I've decided it would be faster to simply ask.
To the Domme's that have live in slaves that are required to hand over their paychecks/savings...Do you use the money for the slaves own care and keep a separate account for such?  or  Do you just take their money spend it on your self and make them live a spartan life?

Status: offline 		The only example I've heard of I agreed with is a leather man that requires his slaves to work enough to cover their expenses.
He was seeking a houseboy, but then his job would be the home, cooking etc..
Any monies that they earn outside of a small monthly stipend they got to have and covering living expenses, health care etc.. were collected in a pool for them .  The remaing funds were kept for special needs and pulling the funds out were agreed on by the HH. Other than that the Master left it in the account and did not use it for his own bills or spending.

Status: offline 		No one living in my household lives a spartan life. If my slaves make money then it is their money to do what they please. I am in charge of my own financial life, and I expect any personal slave that I have, to be responsible for their lives as well. When it comes to scene related gear and activities, then I always pay, no problem.  The only thing a personal slave must contribute to me is the duties of servitude. Years ago when I was pro, one of my personal slave was a successful attorney, yet his tribute to me was never in any monetary sense.

Tribute for play, was different. I did not own any submissives that would pay for my services. Most were not available to be a personal slave in the first place.  The tribute that I required always went right back into providing a clean and well equipped dungeon, and it's up keep, and the rest went for new equipment and fetish clothing that I wanted to have to enhance the next play session.

What good is a submissive that isnt taken care of.

So what do I spend the money on...lets see...mortgage,taxes,food,taxes,clothes,taxes,dungeon toys/furniture,car repairs,
heat(gets chilly in Maine) and did I mention taxes....
Oh yes then there is the Dr. and medications when sick.

More times than not I put Myself last making sure the "household" comes first.

Status: offline 		The amount of control I have over my slaves' finances will vary from person to person. At a minimum, however, they are expected to contribute a portion of their money to the household account that is used to pay household expenses and to travel to events. At the most, there's be a full asset turnover. My care for them would not have them live in poverty. I would also have funds set aside for retirement and such. I don't leave towards asset turnover...but if it was something they truly desired in order to be fulfilled in the relationship, I'd be open to at least discussing it.

It is quite realistic to acknowledge that some goes to organised crime.  Unless of course all these stunning young Dommes who you never get proof of, dont have a cam and would only send you a pic are actually who they portray themselves to be in the picture

PS That paragraph is in now way a declaration that I ever get involved with those kind of profiles as I dont, lol.

Status: offline 		I  have only been faced with this one time, and it didn't last long LOL.

But, we agreed, first he paid a flat fee towards household rent and expenses (rent, utilites, food).

The remainder of each paycheck got cut evenly in half.  Half went into a savings account, and half went into a "fun" account.  The savings account was his to be taken with him when he left my service.  Had it become an amount worth investing, I would have helped him invest (yes I used to be a financial advisor). 

The "fun" account was where his spending money came from, he was allowed a certain amount per week for gas, and meals, and any other expenditures had to be approved by me.  This was also where money for events, play parties, toys, uniforms, etc. was to come from.

Status: offline 		  I have been very busy and originally came here to say hello and catch up with everyone. I hope all of you had a wonderful holiday and your New Year is off to a great start.
  I couldn’t resist yet another tribute thread! Hell no!
  If I have slaves that live in my household then the money is used to take care of the whole house. This is based on a budget I decide and the slave is given an allowance and provided for as far as food, clothing, medical, etc.
  If a slave that doesn’t live in my household then its cash and or gifts. Most of the time I receive gifts. UPS makes frequent stops here.
  Now I may not be able to get back to read comments to any of this so feel free to email me here.
