Greetings Aall,
just a rant mebbe but i hope a relevent one.Has come to my notice that there are alot of Dom/Dommes that ask about experience, that it is what Tthey seek.( shall i use knives and hardcore for an example) When One expects knife times etc and hardcore,They always want no scars, hmmm lemme see, we have flesh,a deep slash, and no scar.Ok,now i know*grimaces* that there are miracles,,but seriously, if there is sumthing that heals all wounds without a mark! Please let this girl know!!! grinz. seriously,,, how can there be so many shallow and obviously  *Ones that have recarnating flesh skills* out there?

Hello Bewildered,
In most of the cutting scenes I've been in or observed the cut is usually not deep enough to do permanent scars.
The Dom's just barely cut through the upper layers of your skin, not cut you wide open.
The marks seem to disappear in a week to a couple of months depending on how deep into the tissue layers it went & your skins ability to heal.
Some subs actually crave scars from their Master.
They count them as trophies, carry pride in them and enjoy them.

I agree with you in the notion I don't want to be riddled with lots of scars &I express that clearly before I've done any cutting scene.
I want no permanent scars from random play.

I do indeed feel that if I serve a Master for 5 years I would like him to brand me on my butt with the symbol of His House or the BDSM symbol.
This is more of the desire to be marked in ownership by my true Master than to have a scar to show others.
It will have great meaning to me so it's worth the mark in this instance to me.

I do have three scars from a cane I'm left with I did not expect or ask for.
It offends me that I was scarred without my consent too.

It's been 6 months since I got the marks and it indeed is continuing to fade and get lighter on it's own.
Every time you play with knives or impact toys you run the risk of doing damage to the skin.
Using vitamin E taken internally and put on the skin helps the skin to heal with less scars, but won't take away deep scars or prevent them.
On the scars I had during the healing period I used neosporin 3X a day. Once healed I used vitamin E for three months.
I figured to continue was pointless.
There are products on the market designed to make scars fade (most geared toward women with stretch marks) that may help, but you have to believe the product supports the advertising claims they make.
Though some of the things I tried seemed to lighten it some it really didn't help enough to recommend the brands I tried.
I'm not so sure it works like they suggest, or more people would be using it.
One thing I wonder after reading your profile is who's cutting you? You say you're single and not dating.
If you've started cutting yourself out of depression, frustration or something I hope you'll be smart enough to seek professional counseling.

Good luck to you, I hope you find an answer that works,
suzanne

aloha Suzanne, did you know that now that your scars are over a month old you can treat them by massaging the scar tissue....use a pinching rolling technique for 1-3 minutes aday ...stop when the area gets tender....also rose oil will work internally to break up scar tissue, its a little spendy but worth it, plus it smells like heaven....but you have to get pure essential oil, not rose fragrance, because that is a chemical synthesis with no medicinal value.

massaging the scar tissue breaks up the fibrous cell tissue and collagen deposits and also brings blood to the area which, like a river, cleanses and washes away cellular detris.

I would have to agree with suzanne. There are some slaves who view the mark of their Dominant as a mark of honour. They crave for their owners to make them in some way. I wish there was a miracle cure to remove all scars from one's body, but alas perhaps Amy's way can help us with that.

There isnt a grander sight than seeing your marks splayed out on your subs back and ass for all to see, but that's just me.

Be well and safe,
V

There is no way you can cut someone and guarantee they will not scar there simply are too many varibles in the human skin to be sure.
Now there are some tings ou can do to reduce the likelyhood, but as my cutting teacher an ER nurse technician told e there are no guarantees you won't scar even if the cutter does everything perfectly right.

Although I like to dabble in some cutting and knife play, the last thing I want is my Brat's beautiful skin to be scarred up.  I take great pride in aftercare.  I do not cut deep, and as soon as the scene gets packed up, the washcloths and neosporin come out.  I take constant care and watch all cuts until they dissapear.

Now thanks to crouchingtigress, I have a new deviant idea to pass down on Brat.  I have always been a big fan in pinching and running my nails down her glowing red ass cheeks, now I get to pinch and twist her healing cuts.  Life is good.

Brat thanks you as well crouchingtigress!
