DeLust241 -> Goals. (1/9/2007 11:04:04 AM)

I was just wondering if anyone may have had this happen to them and how they went about it.
My Master says that I have reached a goal in his eyes but I dont feel I have finish reaching that goal 100%, I've told him this and he understand where I come from but I still dont think I am done. Where should I go with this? Should I lay back and relax on this goal for a while and see where it goes or should I still work on it???

Any comments well help...Thanks

My answer really depends on what the goal is, what standards he is using and what standards you are using.

But generally, just enjoy being where he says you need to be.  You don't have to agree, you just have to accept.

To me as his sub if he thinks I've reached my goal I've succeeded in the goal set even if I'm clueless in how he thinks I accomplished that.
If I still felt shaky about it I would still work on making it better and owning it more, but that would be my own goal & not ours together or his.

Not everything needs to be perfect. If this is as good as he needs you to get, maybe it's because he wants you now to use your energy on learning something new.

Have you considered asking him to help you set some new goals? Just a thought.

I don't have a code for stopping, and never feel as if I'm done with anything.  There always seems to be more to do.  So, coming from this perspective, if he says you've accomplished your goal, you should take it as a given and try to wrap your feelings around that.
