I mean, if I don't know something's coming, then it's sort of like springing something totally un-negotiated into the scene. So, I got issues with that.

Why does this have to be a surprise? Why can't it be talked about?

MNN , I assume you're answering because you sometimes receive anal and enjoy that as much as anything else, right?

I never said it couldn't be talked about or had to be a surprise; that's why I'm asking about it in this thread.  For some people, as you state, it would violate basic rules of negotiation/fair play, for others it would not.

The only concern I would have would be if I were allergic to the same thing you were- because that would not be a nice surprise if I also got to experience my own swelling back there from exposure!
With that said, I would say I would prefer to be prepared for this kind of "surprise" first- especially because I have allergies like that, too- only instead of swelling, I tend to get hives. I'm not the world's biggest fan of anal sex, but I enjoy it- when I know it's coming and how. I can't say I'd ever feel violated, though, by any use my Dom made of my body.

RE the allergic dangers, when I and "Adam" (lad number 2) "discovered this", it was by dint of medical advice, believe it or not.  The substance that causes the reaction (for him and I) is sold in most supermarkets and all pharmacies/chemists here (even advertises "for sensitive skin", LOL).  The first time it happened (for me) I used process of elimination and thought it must b this "vitamin E creme".  I tested it; yup.  Did a second test under different experiment controls to make sure; yes again.  No swelling anywhere else, purely localized.  Adam  did not follow suit (I Nasked him not to until he does a dermis test with his own doctor) so he'll have to wait on this.  But for myself,  I appreciate the concern, but three times no worries = not a problem or risk.  At least for myself.

Adam (and "Dave", the third guy) send their thanks to all whom replied, by the way.  Dave's a very big boy anyway so I've cautioned him on all of this.  Adam and I aren't that big (I'd say average but "thick-ish") but still we're each looking at this as a potential "treat" not "let's go for it".  We get very concerned for the "recipient" (Dave has to be more so considering his "size"; I probably need not explain that).

That changes things somewhat for me, b/c that is more along the lines of consensual negotiation. I have no problem with springing a "surprise" on me when it's been discussed beforehand. As long as safety issues have been addressed, consent obtained and other concerns addressed, then it actually becomes an excitement to me that it might be sprung on me at any time.
