I'm with Ellen....malt vinegar and salt! I also like to take the pile of french fries and squirt ketchup heavily all over them and eat them that way. None of that neat dipping![:D]

I do like cheese, but on plain fries it's got to be mayo, mustard mayo or sweet chilli sauce. I do a gorgeous thai style mayo (lime and chili) which goes well with spicy fries.

I love french fries. Depends on my mood, but I love them with... ketchup mayo brown gravy and velvetta My favorite, by far, is in a brown paper bag with vinegar and kosher salt. Pour it all in and then shake. Pure Heaven.

other: fresh, hot and salted just right. as an added topping on a burger. dipped in or topped with melted cheese. ketchup once in a while. mayo and cheese.

Just like the uld punk belief that there isn't a song that cannot be made better without adding an occasional and well placed "Oi Oi Oi!!!", there are very few foods that can't be made better without ranch dressing.

I like regular ketchup on my fries. I have a friend who loves to dip her fries in blue cheese dressing. One of my aunts pours brown gravy over hers. I tried both of these variations and they are okay, but still like my regular old ketchup best. Lady Topaz
